Ideally located on Florida's Gulf Coast just minutes from many of America’s best beaches. Our two apartments are situated on the shores of beautiful Lake Tarpon, just north of Clearwater in Palm Harbor. Relax and recharge by the pool and in the Jacuzzi and enjoy the waterfront environment. Tampa Airport is just 35 minutes away, with the major theme parks in Orlando only 90 minutes away.

On your doorstep are an abundance of malls, restaurants, parks, golf courses, and endless activities for young or old. Lake Tarpon Villas is a modern, stylish, quiet, low-level apartment complex with direct access to seven-mile long Lake Tarpon (Florida's second largest lake) which is great for bass fishing and water skiing. The apartments look out onto water, boardwalks and boat docks. Our gas-grill-BBQ is on the decking right by the water.

Details for 2-bed 2 Bedrooms, Sleeps 6, 2 Bathrooms

Our two-bedroom apartment has two bedrooms, one with queen size bed and one with twin beds; also there is a large sofa bed to sleep two more. There are two bathrooms, one en-suite. Both have bath and shower. The apartment also has two patios, one which overlooks the water. The apartment comes complete with all vital appliances and utensils together with Cable TV, phone with free local calls and computer with free high-speed Internet. The apartment is accessed by a small flight of stairs, it is on the 1st floor (the complex is no higher). There is an open-air swimming pool (communal) with solar panels, Jacuzzi, sun loungers and picnic tables where you can relax alongside the boat docks and waterside. Next-door is a boatyard from which pontoon boats can be hired and docked adjacent to the apartments at our own private mooring. You can also walk to a great restaurant and bar next door.

Just ten minutes away we have the quieter beaches of Honeymoon Island, Sunset Beach, Caladesi Island and Fred Howard Park. These hidden gems are regularly voted amongst the top ten beaches in America, beating competition in California and Hawaii! Tarpon Springs is a renowned port just up the road, famous for its ethnic Greek community diving for sponges. You are within easy reach of Disney World, Epcot Centre, Universal Studios, MGM Studios, Sea Life, and all the other attractions in Orlando. On your doorstep in Tampa, you have a theme park, Busch Gardens, famous for having the best roller coasters in Florida. Nearby are plenty of golf courses notably the world-famous Westin Innisbrook Resort.

Excellent Apartment

I would like to say we had a really wonderful time in Florida the apartment was excellent we used your fishing rods hope this is ok. The people on the estate were all very nice and friendly. Ann was very helpful and accomodating. We do hope the apartment was left as you would expect it to be. I will send the key back a.s.a.p.

We Shall Be Back

We had a wonderful week and the weather was perfect - not as hot as the previous week in Fort Myers so quite a relief. We were made very welcome by Anne and nothing was too much trouble. Another lady - Alice was a great source of information and we had some lovely chats.

What a lovely area, which was our reason for returning and we shall be back and hope to rent one of your apartments again. We loved the little beach areas - Crystal and Sunset for just an hour or so of sea views and of course Clearwater.

Our favourite dinner restaurant was Codys Steakhouse, for the food value (great ribs) and great atmosphere even if it took us a few minutes to bring ourselves to throw the peanut shells on the floor! Longhorn Steakhouse was over-rated/overpriced and no atmosphere would not go back there.

Lovely Holiday
