The apartment is 150 yards from 2 swimming pools and overlooks a lake. The 30 acre resort boasts 6 stocked fishing ponds and is beautifully maintained. Aside from swimming and fishing you will have access to 2 Jacuzzis, a basket ball court, free tennis, petanque and shuffle board courts. There is also a clubhouse which offers table tennis, a billiard room, BBQ grills and a large screen TV. Discount golf can be booked from the front desk. The 1250sqft apartment has 2 spacious bedrooms and a walk-in wardrobe area. It has a beautifully tiled balcony and a brand new air conditioning/ heating system and dishwasher. There are 2 TVs and a DVD player in the apartment. Free WiFi Internet access is available at the nearby clubhouse and is accessible from the condo patio.

The location is perfect. Beautiful Golf coast beaches such as Anna Maria Island and Long Boat Key are a short drive away. There are many local golf courses and sports facilities including the Bollettieri Tennis Academy. Also within a short drive are great theatres and museums (e.g. Ringling Museum and Salvador Dali etc) and fantastic shopping (Ellenton Outlet Mall and St Armands Circle are both 15 minutes away). The theme parks of Busch Gardens and Orlando are 45min and 2 hours away, respectively. The resort is within walking distance of a bowling alley, a gym, a cinema, a chemist and several supermarkets and restaurants.

Family of five visiting the area for first time

Our family of five stayed at this apartment for 12 nights while visiting relatives who lived close by. With three boys of 18,16 & 9 I did wonder if there would be much for them here. We all throughly enjoyed the complex and the apartment. The two swimming pools/hot tubs were great and the kids could swim in them until late in the evening, they also made use of the tennis/basketball courts/fishing. All equipment could be rented for a small returnable deposit. The two bedroom apartment was larger than expected and very clean and well maintained. It had all the necessary equipment inside which assisted in making the stay relaxing. Booking was very easy and the property owner was very helpful with queries, plus there was lots of information/leaflets in the apartment and in the Club house. The beach was only ten minutes away and there were lots of restaurants/shops were close by. We visited Busch Gardens from here, only one hour away and Orlando,which was two hours away (stayed over night there and drove back next day).

All in all the would we go back - most certainly and we have recommend it to the rest of the family and friends,

A relaxing stay

This was our first visit to the Bradenton area and we stayed at Shorewalk on the recommendation of my parents.
We really enjoyed our time in the property and felt very comfortable and at home from the moment we arrived.
The apartment was well equipped, with great cooking facililties and the barbecue grills at the club house were a bonus.
We stayed here after a busy week in Orlando and this was an ideal place to recharge our batteries before we headed off for another hectic week in New York.
Shorewalk is an older resort however, it is well maintained and there are loads of facilities, including 2 pools, table tennis and a pool table.
The beaches are a short drive away however, they are beautiful and there are some great beachfront restaurants too.
If you want a relaxing, comfortable break then this property is definately worth considering
