The quiet 45 unit beachfront complex is situated on upscale West Gulf Drive, just a five minute bike ride to historic Baileys General Store, shops and restaurants. Lighted walkways guide you through the beautifully landscaped grounds, while there is under-building parking and beach chairs and equipment for your use. Our recently remodelled south-west facing condo looks out over the heated pool, lagoon and Gulf of Mexico. It's a top floor corner unit with elevator access. With three TVs, DVD, VCR and a designer kitchen, come and enjoy all the facilities of home in a tropical paradise island - and leave the traffic lights behind.

Sanibel

Sanibel is a unique sub-tropical barrier island, 3 miles off the coast of Florida. Not only does it have its own fresh water river, but its east-west orientation (when most islands are north-south) gives it the best shelling beaches in North America. Half of the island is preserved as a wildlife sanctuary. With miles of pristine white sand beaches on its gulf shores and dense mangrove forests on its bay side, Sanibel offers visitors incredibly diverse ecosystems, all within a few miles.

Activities on the water

Cruise to the famous upper islands of Useppa Island, Cabbage Key, Cayo Costa and Boca Grande. Canoe or kayak through the unspoiled waterways of Tarpon Bay, where you can watch manatee and bottlenose dolphin and hundreds of varieties of birds. Surf cast off the beach, take a charter boat for tarpon, grouper, mackerel or redfish or try your hand at backwater fishing through Sanibel's grass flats.

Activities on land

Visit the restaurants, shops, art galleries and the three golf courses. A little further are Sanibel's famous wildlife sanctuaries and nature preserves. Bike, walk or drive the 5-mile nature trail at the J. N. 'Ding' National Wildlife Refuge, a 5,000-acre sanctuary, and see spoonbill pelicans, herons, egrets, terns, white ibises, as well as alligators, turtles, armadillos and river otters. Visit the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Center with its miles of walking trails, exhibits, marine touch tank and native plant nursery. Take the time to enjoy the island's two live theatres, its first run movie theatre, great shopping, live music, sports bars and local pubs.
