Heritage Oaks is a beautiful private golf course community with onsite tennis courts, 5 swimming pools, club house, restaurant and fitness centre. In 2007 our beautiful golf course was totally overhauled and with the addition of a stylish new Grill room and 19th hole the Golf and Country Club really is one of the best of its kind in Sarasota and Central West Florida. Casual dining at lunch and dinner with a programme of golfing and social events available. We arrange your transfer Membership to the Golf and Country Club with a modest fee payable to the club. No green fees off-season. Advantageous green fees November-April. During the months of May to October Heritage Oaks sets up a fantastic reciprocal programme with up to 40 golf clubs throughout the region where you can play free of green fees normally on payment of cart fees only.

The apartment, which is all on the upstairs floor with high airy ceilings is wonderfully spacious and beautifully furnished in Florida style and is located just opposite the swimming pool. The shaded balcony has beautiful lake and golf course views. Large Living Room/Dining room. Separate television room/Den. Additional televisions in the Master bedroom and kitchen. Large kitchen with breakfast area. Master bedroom with kingsize bed and ensuite bathroom with large tub and sep. walk in shower. 2nd bedroom with double bed and adjacent full bathroom. Laundry. There is plenty of walk-in closet space. Bicycles and Beach chairs provided. This style of uptairs end apartment has a great floor plan and is the largest most sought after at Heritage Oaks

  • Late Availability Rates. Monthly rates.
    Full transfer membership of the Club entitles you to use of all the golf club, sports, gym, aerobics and water aerobic classes and and leisure facilities. You will pay only a cart fee to play golf during the low season. In high season ( November - April ) modest green fees are applied. The transfer fee is currently $200 per couple for the period of your stay but may be considerably lower during the Summer months.
  • Live the Florida Lifestyle. By far the most economical way to experience your Florida home and lifestyle is to become a 'Snowbird' and escape from the clutches of Winter at home. European guests may stay for up to 3 months without visa complications and just think of the savings on Winter fuel alone. 'Beauty and the Beach': A golfers paradise. Sarasota offers some of the finest golf, museums, art and antique galleries and a wealth of activities as well as Malls, restaurants and boutiques. The year round sunny days and tropical breezes are a welcome invitation to over 60 golf courses and 35 miles of pristine beaches. On the shoreline and on the mainland including the preserves here at Heritage Oaks bird and wildlife abounds, with a number of bird and marine sanctuaries in the area. Almost a neighbour to Heritage Oaks the Myakka River State Park, which extends over 29,000 acres offers extensive wildlife, hiking, cycling and air boat tours.

Siesta Key: Award winning Siesta Key is one of Florida's best white Sand beaches and is just a few minutes from downtown Sarasota. Also within a short drive of Heritage Oaks are the gorgeous beaches at Nokomis and Venice.

Golf: Heritage Oaks features a championship golf course, an elegant club house and outstanding amenities. Situated on over 600 acres the course is set among lakes and nature reserves. The dramatic fairways and well framed greens are maintained in outstanding condition year round. The course is fairly demanding from the back tees but with a choice of 5 tee boxes golfers of all standards play here. Transfer golf membership available with all rentals - See notes to rates - Walking available in the evenings. During the Summer there is a reciprocal program with approx 20 other clubs in the area many of which can be visited on payment of only a cart fee. ( No green fee.) If you wish to play golf independently there are many courses in the area where non members may play. Handicap certificates are seldom required.

Had a wonderful time in this lovely condo
Peter could not do enough for us and every one we came in contact with was helpful and friendly.
Heritage Oaks is a great place for a relaxing holiday and the golf was great.
The condo was spacious and very well appointed with wonderfull views cant wait to return

We had a great time at Heritage Oaks. Our apartment was beautiful and spacious with everything at hand you could possibley need. The view from the window over the lake and golf course were breathtaking. We played golf on wonderful courses, teeming with wildlife. We swam in warm swimming pools. We met and made friends with lots of wonderful and helpful people. Thank you Peter and Heather for letting your apartment to us. We can't wait to come back.

Wonderful family holiday

We took our two boys aged 15 and 12 on our first holiday to Florida and had a fantastic time at this lovely apartment. The freedom for us all to do our own thing at Heritage Oaks was great and everybody was very friendly - we ALL played 3 rounds of golf in the heat of the summer and loved the course and facililties. The "den" was a great hit and meant we could all have our own space whilst "chilling" from the humidity. Thank heavens for the AC and screens - we stayed cool and didn't see one insect. Can't wait to return.

Golfing and fishing Heaven !!!

We have rented this appartment a few times now, the owners are very helpful and gave us so much information before we went - we are very impressed by their organisation, they have thought of everything, we have really enjoyed our stays here. The golf is excellent, and the access to the other reciprocal programme courses is fantastic. The gated community is very safe & clean, the staff are all friendly and made as feel really welcome. There are lots of great restaraunts close by, plenty shops and things to do.
The beaches in the area are fantastic, and the wild life is incredible. As a fisherman and a golfer - the Sarasota area is paradise to me. Somehow even the beer tastes better there....
I would recommend booking here to anyone thinking of visiting the area, my only regret is that we only visit once a year.....
