Our newly remodelled 2,200 sq.ft. home has been exquisitely decorated in an elegant tropical style. It sits high on a large lot in a private road of only 6 homes close to Phillippi Creek with all its wonderful birds and wildlife. Drive or cycle to Siesta Key beaches (10 minutes by car) or visit Southgate Mall, and the many restaurants of Tamiami Trail, equally close by. Or simply relax in your own tropical paradise, sparkling new heated pool, fully screened in with al fresco eating, gas grill, and a new covered lanai!

Only 10 minutes from the fine white sands of the Gulf of Mexico and the many fabulous restaurants of the Tamiami Trail. A 20 minute drive will take you to the boutique shopping at St. Armands Key with its fine dining and Lido beach, drive across to Longboat Key and Anna Maria Island for a true Florida Keys experience. The famous Ringling Museum and Mansion, the art galleries of Palm Avenue, the Van Wezel concert hall, orchestra and ballet, the stylish new Selby public library and the many beautiful examples of Spanish architecture dating back to the 1920's all remind us that Sarasota truly is the cultural capital of Florida. However bargain hunters and fashionistas are not forgotten with excellent shopping malls within 10 minutes drive and a huge designer discount mall at Ellenton, 30 minutes away. Wildlife enthusiasts will enjoy Jungle Gardens, or a trip to the Myakka River to ride on an air boat amongst alligators galore!

  • The bathrooms have all been updated, with new toilets, all white fittings and new vanity units in each bathroom. The master bedroom has a gorgeous marble double shower with 2 heads. There is also an outdoor shower by the pool, perfect for after beach or swimming.

  • The master bedroom has a king-size bed made up of 2 individual electric adjustable sections , divinely comfortable and indulgent with a massage facility! This room opens directly onto the pool deck which is secure and screened so romantic moonlight dips can be enjoyed, while the children nap safely upstairs! The second bedroom , with double bed, has its own large shaded deck overlooking the pool area and is decorated in a pretty Cape Cod style, as is bedroom 3 with twin beds. These two rooms share an adjoining bathroom with full tub and shower also in pretty white Cape Cod style. All the beds are new and there is masses of pretty bedlinen, quilts and pillows, lots of fluffy towels, beach towels etc. There is a cot if needed.

Notes: The kitchen is newly re-modelled, (2008), with white shaker style units and granite counters.The laundry is in the garage. We have optional maid service and regular pool and lawn service. While we don't have ramps the ground floor is pretty wheelchair friendly with wide doorways and the electric beds and recliner chairs are wonderful for the elderly or infirm. There are 2 separate living rooms, one is furnished in an elegant tropical style, with large comfy sofa, armchairs, TV, working fireplace and vaulted ceiling into a galleried landing, also a lovely reading corner with chaise longue and plenty of good books. The 'den' with TV,wireless internet and a couple of reclining chairs, one electric, opens onto the covered lanai with sofa and two chairs with comfy cushions and loungers overlooking the pool, which has a removable child safety fence making it a lovely safe play area. There are electric ceiling fans and air conditioning throughout, and plantation blinds to every room
