Our villa is a new beautiful, fully equipped 4-bedroom & 3 en-suite bathroom home in a lakeside setting, landscaped with palms & shrubs. It has a 28' x 14' caged luxury pool and extended deck equipped with sun loungers and comfort pads. The villa has a lanai, with table & chairs for alfresco dining and also has a ceiling fan. There is a dining area next to the kitchen, with table and chairs, and also a formal dining area. The family room, with sofa and loveseat, has HDTV with DVD/cable. A separate lounge area, at the front of the house, has a sofa & loveseat, & flat screen TV (with DVD/cable). The master bedroom with king size bed with large ensuite bathroom, 2 basins, tub & separate shower. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and bathroom. Both bedrooms overlook the pool / lake. The third and fourth bedrooms, both with twin beds, have access to the third bathroom. All bedrooms have dressers or chests of drawers and generous closets, the one in the master bedroom being walk-in.

Mandalay is situated on the Sarasota border allowing easy access to both local theatres and the Van-Wezel Concert Hall. The world famous white sandy beaches of Anna-Maria Island, Sarasota Bay and Longboat Key are only a short drive away. Relaxing days can be spent swimming, fishing or participating in the many local watersports in the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico. There are several nine and eighteen hole golf courses nearby which are available for visitors to use. If you enjoy shopping this area is ideal. There are numerous shops and malls in Bradenton and Sarasota plus one of the largest outlet malls in Florida only 25 minutes drive away, at Ellenton. There is also the exquisite St Armarnds Circle, closeby, where there are numerous boutiques and restaurants. Other attractions include Busch Gardens which is about 45 minutes drive and the various theme parks of Orlando which are only 90 minutes drive.

We had the most amazing chilled out holiday in this lovely lakeside villa - it is, indeed, a luxury villa and is exactly as the description states. So comfortable, clean and with everything we needed. The best thing was 'falling' out of bed and into the swimming pool each morning - lazy breakfasts eaten by the pool with the beautiful lake to look at. We visited wonderful beaches, the State Park (fascinating), shops, cinema and went to the theatre twice. We found all the restaurants we went to were excellent, both in terms of service and food. There was plenty to do - this villa is ideal whatever type of holiday you want - from completely lazy to hectic and busy!! it's all there to be had. We also loved the family of cranes living by the lake. However - we didn't see Snappy, so, oh dear - we'll have to come back another time!!!
Thank you for a brilliant holiday - for us, it typified how fantastic retirement is......

Fabulous villa

The villa is outstanding a real home-from-home. It is in an ideal location - quiet yet close to all local amenities. Beaches glorious and fantastic restaurants not too far away either. Kids loved playing in the pool after a days shopping or being at the beach. Look out for the dollar cinema at DeSoto mall - excellent value for up to date films. Hopefully we'll be back to this villa in the near future.

Quite simply this is a superb, well-maintained property that has all the facilities needed for a great holiday.

It is ideally located (in a quiet residential area) for the excellent beaches of the Gulf Coast, to go exploring the area and for the shops.

This is the second time we've stayed at this particular villa and we would have no hesitation in returning next year.

This is an excellent propert & Exactly as portreyed in the pictures.The pool area is lovely being next to the lake makes it very tranquile, The lake was visited every day by a family of cranes and other water birds. You can also watch the fish jumping out of the water. The lake also has a small resident alligator called Snappy who we saw on several occasions every day. The villa is close to the many white sand beaches in the area. There is also a Wal-mart close bye. We also visited the outlet shops. There are also plenty of places to eat out. We will definatley be returning to this villa.

Lovely Villa

We recently spent a very relaxing week at this excellent villa with 3 other couples aged 50+. The villa is furnished and equipped to a very high standard and very well maintained. It really was a home from home. It is located in a very quiet gated community within easy reach of shops, restaurants and beaches. The beaches at Anna Maria Island, Lido Key and Siesta Key were about 20-25 minutes away by car. John and Freda were very friendly and helpful.
