Our house is located in the peaceful community of West Glenn. Relax by our south-west facing private screened solar - heated pool, overlooking a tranquil lake and enjoy the variety of bird life. The lanai has a covered dining area with table and comfortable chairs, ideal for enjoying meals poolside. We have two double bedrooms, and another bedroom with twin beds. The master bedroom has ensuite facilities with bath and separate shower. The other two bedrooms are adjacent to the second bathroom. There is also a laundry room with washer and dryer, a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, fridge freezer and dishwasher. We also have cable TV & Wi-Fi internet. Our home is furnished with comfort and relaxation in mind. It is furnished and decorated to a very high standard and the pool, lawns and plants are tended weekly to make your stay enjoyable and relaxing. There are vaulted ceilings and air conditioning throughout. The double garage contains beach furniture and equipment for your use.

Our home in West Glenn is within walking distance to IMG Sports Academy / Bolletieri tennis. The area boasts many magnificent golf courses. We are also spoilt for choice with a huge variety of shops, outlet malls and restaurants. Some of Florida's most beautiful white. sandy beaches - Anna Maria Island and Longboat Key are within a few minutes drive. Stroll along the seven mile stretch of Anna Maria collecting shells, watching for manatees and dolphins or paddle in the warm, clear waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Parasailing, deep sea fishing, boat trips, tennis, golf, diving and sailing are just a few of the many activities available. Less than an hours drive from Tampa airport and Busch Gardens and 15 minutes from Sarasota with its unique arts, culture and museums. As a yearly visitor to Florida and mostly in the Bradenton area, Helen's villa is by far the best we have stayed in. Immediately we felt at home in the spacious surroundings and there was nothing we needed from a home that wasn't already supplied. The furnishings and decor were beautiful, tasteful and exactly as shown in the photographs.
The information Helen emailed was so helpful and interesting, even to my family and I, who know Bradenton really well.
As soon as we returned from our vacation I contacted Helen and have already booked her wonderful villa for 2010. I cannot praise Helen and her villa enough, we hope to have another great holiday in 2010 as we did in 2009.

The best villa we have stayed in

We booked Helen’s villa for 2 weeks in June 2009. The directions Helen gave us from Tampa airport to the villa were excellent. On arrival at the villa our expectations were exceeded. The villa was extremely well equipped, tastefully furnished and immaculately clean. Having visited this part of Florida many times we found the location of this villa superb, for easy access to Anna Maria Island beaches, shops and wonderful restaurants. Helen was very helpful and went out of her way to be informative about the area with additional information on activities and places to visit locally and beyond. We had such a lovely holiday we felt that the villa was our very own home and really didn’t want to leave it. After a day at the beach it was great to come home, go for a dip in the pool, shower and go out to one of the local restaurants with views across the bay. Each day a family of ducks, who must do the rounds of the local villas and lakes, dropped by to say Hi. We can’t wait to go back and wouldn’t contemplate stopping in any other villa. We have wonderful memories of sitting by the pool, with the sunset slowly disappearing across the lake, the smell of barbeque and a cold glass of beer or wine on a lovely warm Floridian evening. Perfect! And that word describes this villa.

We (me, husband and two children) stayed here this year for the second time. The house is lovely - very clean and comfortable with everything you need and in a good location - close to shops, super beaches, restaurants, bowling alley, main routes etc. We love sitting on the lanai in the evening and watching the sunset and the children love the warm (solar heated) pool.We hope to come again soon.

Perfect, simply perfect!

From the moment I contacted Helen, I knew things were going to go well.....she, along with their property manager Cathy, made us feel most welcome and completely at home. The information package which Helen emailed, was a huge timesaver in finding things nearby as well as great suggestions for things to do and places to go plus shortcuts to save time in travel too. Their home is so easy to get to, and so convenient to everything, yet with the privacy one wants while on vacation. The home itself had everything we needed for our stay. It is beautifully furnished, spacious and comfortable and clean. The pictures online are indeed what you see when you arrive....although the colours of the flowers etc are just a bit more brilliant in person!
Can you tell we had a great time?? I could go on and on, but suffice it to say, my next Florida vacation will begin with contacting Helen and finding out what availability this wonderful home has!
