Notes to the rental rates

• Rental rates for 2007/2008: Low Season - from £355 per week. High Season - £450 per week. These rates are based on a maximum occupancy of 6 persons. Rental cost in US$ based on £/$ exchange at time booking confirmed – Please refer to conversion rate table. Short and long term rentals are available - quotations provided on request. Discount on long term rentals and late availability bookings. A cleaning charge of £30 or US$60 and a returnable security deposit of £200 or US$300 to cover accidental damage or loss to property & contents including excessive cleaning charges will be required. A full set of directions including route maps and key collection instructions appropriate to your travel arrangements will be provided.

The Villa

Sited in a quiet and peaceful location offering a scenic vista across a waterway this luxury detached villa has a south facing heated pool in a screened enclosure with an extended pool deck that provides ample room for sunbathing and dining al fresco.The villa is fully furnished with air conditioning throughout and the added benefit of ceiling fans in every room. The owners ensure that the furnishings and decor are maintained to a high standard. The kitchen has a breakfast nook and comes equipped with a full range of equipment including crockery and cooking utensils. Duvets, bed linen and towelling are provided for each bedroom and bathroom. The pool and lawns are serviced on a regular basis by a local management agency who are also engaged to provide assistance when required to do so to ensure the continuity of comfort and welfare to our guests during their stay at the villa.

The Immediate Area

The villa is located in the Rotonda golfing community with 3 championship golf courses almost on the doorstep. Within 30 minutes drive you will find a further 12 courses - most are public or semi private with no membership required.The beautiful beaches on the Gulf of Mexico are within easy reach and a short driving distance from the villa. Chadwick Beach at Englewood provides sheltered seated areas and facilities for BBQ's. Watersports, fishing, boat charters including jet ski & kayak hire are available from local marinas. Tennis courts are situated at Englewood East centre and a wide arrange of nature walks and parks are available. Rotunda is situated in a quiet and exclusive residential area filled with with intersecting canals which are ideal for walking and cycling - bicycle hire is available locally. The community is served by a number of food stores & supermarkets and a variety of good restaurants offering a selection of quality food.

The Surrounding Area.

The villa is ideally situated for visiting the more fashionable districts of Siesta & Longboat Key, Venice, Sarasota & Naples as well as the Islands of Captiva, Marco and Sanibel all of which can be reached in a reasonable driving time. All these resorts face the Gulf of Mexico and apart from shopping malls, museums, parks and restaurants with first class services they offer beautiful beaches to cater for the more leisurely and recreational pursuits such as beach strolling, shell collecting, swimming, snorkeling, surfing etc. Venice with its pier, harbour and village square lined with antique stores is worth a visit. Port Charlotte is perfect for a shopping expedition with one of the largest malls in South West Florida and just 20 minutes to reach by car. Ellenton and Sarasota both have large shopping outlet centres no more than 45 minutes away to shop for bargains galore. Boca Grande with its white sands and turquoise waters is a must to visit on the Cape Haze peninsular.
