Bal Harbour is a paradise in the middle of the city. Miami Beach is actually a long stretch on the entire east coast of Miami and Bal Harbour is located roughly in the middle of the stretch (being on about 100th street). The beach of Miami Beach (known in this area as Bal Harbour Beach) is a wide and clean beach, is mostly private except for the two public access points and offers a scenic walking path and a jetty for fishing and sightseeing. The area near the jetty is a favourite of surfers. Public access to the beach at 96th Street and Collins Avenue and at 102nd Street and Collins, next to the Haulover Inlet, actually 4 blocks from the apartment.

FREE BUS : Bal Harbour is one of the most exclusive residential areas of Miami Beach. Miami Beach is actually a long stretch on the entire east coast of Miami, and Bal Harbour is located roughly in the middle of the stretch (being on about 100th street). So the beach of Miami Beach (known in this area as Bal Harbour Beach) is actually 5 short blocks from the apartment. Also there is a gate that take you directly to Bal Harbour Shopping Mall. The beach of Bal Harbour is a Wide, clean beach with dunes extends eight-tenths of a mile south from Haulover Inlet. Set among resort hotels, the beach is mostly private except for the two public access points, and offers a scenic walking path and a jetty for fishing and sightseeing. The area near the jetty is a favorite of surfers. Public access to the beach at 96th Street and Collins Avenue, and at 102nd Street and Collins, next to the Haulover Inlet. Facilities: None. Hotel restaurants are nearby for a snack or drink. Lifeguards: None.

Excellent stay in Bal Harbour area of Miami

We stayed at this apartment for a week from April 18th 2008. It is in a first class location and is brillantly equipped. The owners left one of the best introductions to the apartment and the surrounding area that we have seen. It was our first stay in Miami (we travelled from England) and this accomodation was an excellent and comfortable base. The beach, local restaurants and shops are all close at hand and all within comfortable walking distance.I would highly recommend this spacious apartment and we would happily return. We too found it on the internet and we were attracted to the location and easy driving proximity to the airport. Thanks to the owners for a fabulous stay.
