Please email Eileen for our new video link for Flamingo Palms. Our newly built family home lies overlooking a picturesque lake. It is beautifully decorated & furnished. The South West facing screened heated pool (size 24 by 14) for the sun worshiper with a spa that has seating for 8 is ideal for early evening cocktails to watch the sunset. There is a shaded patio area outside the lounge doors that can be used for barbecues and alfresco dining with seating for 6, also a bar area for sun downer drinks next to the spa overlooking the lake. We have poolside landscape lighting to watch the pelicans feeding on the lake. Plus ceiling fans under the lanai, the pool and Spa have night lighting. Our private gated community provides communal pool, clubhouse, play area, is situated 3 miles (10 minutes drive) from the Gulf beaches and elegant shops and restaurants of Olde Naples. This villa is very near the beach. There are 2 bikes in the villa for guests to use also 3 bedrooms have their own TV.

Further Details : Elegant Naples is a shoppers paradise with numerous designer shops and elegant boutiques The Village in Venetian Bay and Pelican Bay thro to Third Street South all pedestrian friendly. Naples has 10 miles of sugar sand beaches with dazzling sunsets, There is also boating, crusing and fishing from Olde Naples Pier. Dining in Naples ranges from Gourmet to Al Fresco or family dining too numerous to mention. Marco, Captive and Sanibel Islands are easily assessable also the Everglades The Keys, Fort Myers, and Sarasota. Orlando (Disney Resorts) is two and half hours drive away.Publix and Wyn Dixey are 10 minutes drive from the gate. Please contact us for details of or webpage. Fly to Fort Myers: Fort Myers Airport is approximately 35 miles from our villa and this is an easy drive down 175. The airport provides a warm and relaxed welcome to South West Florida. Miami Airport is approximately one and half hours drive away and Orland Airport is about four hours drive away. From November 2004 we understand that Delta Airlines will be flying twice a day from Atlanta into Naples Airport just 10 minutes drive away from Briarwood Gated Community.

Golf: Some of South West Florida's most prestigious clubs are in the Naples area. Beautiful public courses include Palm River, Naples Heritage, Naple Beach Hotel, Marriott at Marco, Marco Shores, Ironwood High Point, Hibiscus. These are all stunning challenging courses. All advertise club rental if required. Check with individual courses for costs and bookings.

Flamingo Palms and Royal Palms

We booked for 3 weeks at Flamingo Palms and ended up staying a fourth week at Royal Palms due to the volcanic ash. We had a wonderful hoiiday, the extended stay was a bonus! Eileen and Geoff's customer service is first rate - they always respond quickly to any queries and are very helpful. Both villas are superbly situated with fabulours views of the lake - we enjoyed watching the wildlife around and in the lake whilst we sat out enjoying barbecues (wildlife we saw include otters, turtles, herons and other exotic birds). This was our fourth visit to Naples and the fourth time we had stayed on Briarwood and Eileen and Geoff were the most accomodating and helpful of all the people we have rented from. Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday - we will be back.

Fantastic Property

What a fantastic property. It was beyond our expectations. The pictures on the site are lovely and accurate but they just doesn't prepare you for how large the property is. It was beautifully clean and furnished to a very high standard. Having both bath and hand towels available meant less luggage to carry. Looking through comments book, everybody was flattering about the property but occasionally had made suggestions and you could see that the owners had taken these on board and implemented them wherever possible, obviously wanting it to be as homely as possible for customers. We would DEFINITELY recommend this to friends. We left for two days to go to Orlando - Discovery Cove and Bush Gardens - which were wonderful but returning to this beautifully air conditioned home with its patio, pool and spa was very much looked forward to. We ate at restaurants recommended in the house information provided by the owners - Michelbobs and the Cheesecake Factory - best ribs in town and extensive menu respectively - both excellent. The information in the welcome book was extensive and very helpful. The barefoot beach was lovely. The Everglades for us was disappointing, we got bitten too pieces (even with anti-mosi cream) and saw nothing but 2 hours of watery grass. The allegators must have gone on holiday!! We took the Tram tour. Can't say we'd recommend this but maybe we were just unlikely but also the Tram is open and exceedingly hot. Once again it was a joy to return to our fabulous, well stocked house. You do need a car but the local supermarket is literally a few minutes drive away and you can just pop down up to 9 at night. There was also a bank, k-mart, clothing store, china buffet and macdonalds here which covered a multitude of needs in one hit. We visited Sanibel Island and Tin City both of which we needed more time at. A few hours isn't enough.

Deluxe is no exaggeration for this house. If anything it is an understatement - we really didn't want to leave. The customer is really thought about and a few basics are available so that you can walk in through the door and relax a bit before you have to think about shopping.

Thank you so much for making our first visit to Florida a particularly memorable one - quite frankly we'd have quite happily stayed in the house for two weeks and not gone anywhere - we had to remind ourselves that we were on holiday and should see some of the sights

Excellent 2 weeks at Flamingo Palms Naples

As soon as we arrived at Flamingo Palms we knew we would have a fantastic time at Flamingo Palms. It is exactly as it appears in the video. Large rooms with good furniture and linens. The pool and lanai were beautiful with plenty of loungers and tables and chairs. Briarwood is very secure and attractive with a variety of property styles and lakes. We sat in the evening and watched the turtles and birds and twice watched two otters playing in the lake.
Eileen suggested some restaurants which we tried out and enjoyed very much. There are many eating options to suit every pocket and mood in Naples and environs.
We have no hesitation in recommending Flamingo Palms and will probably return in the not too distant future.

Lovely Villa

Famingo Palms is a lovely home from home villa. The description was accurate. We arrived at the villa late at night all tired, but once in the villa we all started to relax as it was all clean and tidy with fresh , clean linen on the beds. You definately need a car to get around in Naples. We like Clam Pass beach and we went to Spanky's speakeasy a couple of times, our favourite restaurant was Waterside grill.....Delicious!!!! Eileen provided good service, she even offered to sort out somewhere for us to stay as we were delayed, but thankfully we got home not having to take her up on her offer.

We did not get full use from the pool and Jacuzzi as it was below average weather when we were there, so too cold to swim.

I would recommend this well equiped property to all friends and relatives.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and would like to go back soon.

This home was very nice and clean. We had trouble working the spa but we called the pool company and they came out right away. The glass wall of the house opens completely to the pool area and made the house feel even bigger. The neighborhood was lovely and quiet and accessable to everything. The owners were easy to work with and very accomodating. We had 7 adults stay in this house and everyone had plenty of space and were happy with the accomodations.
