Fitness room: If maintaining a regular physical fitness routine while you are on vacation is important, the fitness room is designed for you. It includes a series of exercise machines inlcuding a Bow Flex, weights and bench press, stationary bike, an Ab bench and others.
Two kayaks, two bicycles : As the the house is on a canal and includes a dock, the two kayaks are available free of charge. You can just slip them in the water and glide down the canal to the New River. There is a nearby nature center. You can can also kayak across the river to the Marina Bay marina and dock and have a lunch or dinner or just enjoy a apertif and then kayak back.
From the house you can use the bicycles to cycle to the beach, It takes approximately 30 minutes. Along the way you pass over the famous 17th Street Causeway Bridge that looks out over the Port Everglades cruise ship terminal and the largest cruise ships in the world. You can return via Los Olas Blvd and visit the numerous boutiques and cafes. It is also possible to cycle along the famous Fort Lauderdale Riverwalk where there are numerous restaurants, cafes, museums, galleries etc.
Golf:
In the Fort Lauderdale-Boca Raton corridor along the southeast coast of Florida there are more than 25 challenging golf clubs and most are open to the public, especially if you belong or play regularly at a local club in your area. One of the top courses not only in the area but in all of Florida (it occasionally hosts a PGA event) is the famous Inverrary Country Club, which features two championship 18-hole Robert Trent Jones-designed courses. Another outstanding golfing paradise is the nearby Bonaventure Country Club, which has two championship 18-hole courses.

If you would like to find a tee time at any of the local courses it is possible to do a search on Google for available tee times in Fort Lauderdale and the list of clubs and times will be listed.

Also, as the villa is located with five minutes of I-95 it is easy to access all of the Miami or West Palm beach courses.
