A Place in the Sun
Review Submitted: June 13, 2009
Date of Stay: May 2009
It is important to know that our review relates to May/June which is off-season but which has advantages. Shops had large discounts, over 50% sometimes, golf courses had low rates also and many private courses open their doors to visitors in the off-season. In general, it is much less expensive to live in Cape Coral in the off-season. It is called off-season because it is hotter and to some people therefore less desirable.
The villa is superb, real five star quality. The pool is large and the solar heating meant that it was often over 90 F, excellent for even the biggest wimps. The lanai, sitting area beside the pool is under cover but in the open with lovely views to the canal. Everything is peaceful and quiet and yet the shops, restaurants etc. are only a short ride away. A car is essential.
The owner Steve contacted us a number of times to make sure that all was well, both before and during our stay..
We like plenty of space and there were four of us, all active senior citizens and it was ideal. We would have no hesitation in recommending the villa to others.

Owner's Response: Our winter home in Cape Coral really is 5 star quality and in the perfect location, large, well furnished, lovely water views, beautiful sunsets, all-day sun with a large covered out-side area, with overhead fans for those guests who prefer a little cool outside shade. The pool is solar heated ensuring the temperature of your choice. ( easy to follow directions to turn it on or off) The villa is close to all the shops etc., but in a quiet road of like houses.
We feel very proud to recieve so many lovely letters and photos from our guests who enjoy our home as much as we do. Thank you.
We do contact all our guests before and during their holiday ensuring that they are 100% happy.
Many of our guests return and we offer special deals to them to show our appreciation
Steve & Sue
