Accommodation:
Our luxurious lakeside home was completed in May 2002. Since completion, we have added many personal touches to ensure total comfort and enjoyment for all visitors. The pool area is unique in that it is not overlooked by properties on either side of the house, therefore you can relax in moderate privacy The estate on which the property resides is quiet and very friendly and the U-shaped lake which provides a magnificent focal point enjoys plenty of wildlife such as birds and turtles. We have upgraded the interior decor to include our own personal touches. The house is fully air-conditioned.
Location:
Our home is located in a quiet residental area in Fort Myers, which is an approximate 10 minute drive from the main beach areas and the beautiful islands of Sanibel and Captiva. There are plenty of beach areas, restaurants, sports activities and shopping if you want it. Local facilities include a new Publix supermarket, Chemist, Hospital/Doctor, Shopping Mall, Golf Course, Multi-screen Cinema and much more all of which are within 5-10 minutes drive. Travelling to our home is easy as the nearest airport (Southwest Florida Regional Airport) is only 10 miles away. Alternatively, you can fly to Miami, Orlando or Tampa and drive to Fort Myers. The drive from any of these airports is straight forward and we can provide exact directions upon request.
Activites:
Sanibel And Captiva Islands are a 10 mins drive, and they boast beautiful beaches, formal and informal dining and a magnificent nature reserve. Cycle bikes are available to hire locally and are a great way to explore these beautiful islands. Orlando is approx. 2.5 hours drive if you want to spend a few days visiting the Magic Kingdom and other theme parks. Busch Gardens at Tampa is only 1.5 hours drive on very easy to reach unconjested interstate roads. Every watersport imaginable is available at Fort Myers beach fronts including dolphin watch tours on jet ski. A superb new golf course has just opened across the road from our home and is currently open to the public. Alternatively, there are over 50 international standard courses within 1/2 hour's drive. Several shopping malls are close by, and within a 20 minute drive you can be at the Miromar Outlet complex. The upmarket town of Naples is within a 40 mins drive along with the Ventian Village and Waterside Shopping complexes.
