The wildlife is great - Lakes Park is just a short a cycle ride or a 5 miute drive from the house. The local Publix (2 minutes by car) and Sweet Bay (walking distance) are great grocery stores, with excellent fresh produce, sushi, fish, steaks etc. If you're arriving late and tired, 7-11 (24 hour convenience store and gas / petrol) is literally just round the corner. Great house in a fantastic location.It is near to the beaches and also plenty of shops nearby. The house has everything you might need for your holiday and was plenty big enough for my family of 4. The pool was great, the only problem was getting the kids out of it !! There is a great park nearby which is great for kids. We hired bikes and a boat which was great fun. I would definately recommend this villa if you are staying in Fort Myers, we can't wait to go back.

It's beautifully decorated and has so many little extras that really made it feel like home. The information in the booklets was invaluable - we're definitely fans of the Sweetbay supermarket and also Bahama Breeze (which we visited a couple of times). There were noticeably less British visitors around - in fact we only came across any other British people on Sanibel island - which I rather like. It was certainly a change from Orlando where practically everyone you meet is on holiday from the UK too. I've stayed in other villas before but never one that's been fitted out to such high standards - I've been showing my colleagues at work the website and they're all very jealous.

We're currently looking into how we can fly into South West Florida airport directly as we'd be keen to visit again.

Thanks again for the loan of your lovely home - we definitely appreciated it!

Staying in your home made our vacation perfect. No issues at all with directions, getting and dropping off the key, etc. Meeting your neighbor, Jim, was nice, not only because he's a nice guy, but because he also provided us with the garage door opener. You have a beautiful, well equipped home, the bicycles were used by our daughter and her friend.
If we ever stay in Fort Myers again, we would want to stay in your home. If I know of anyone going there, I will recommend it to them too. Thanks for asking for feedback and again, thanks for providing your home to us.

House is very well layed out , very spacious,lots of room for the grandkids to blow off steam.
Heated pool was very nice after a day at the beach.
Stove and fridge where top grade and worked very well.
I loved our pancake breakfasts.
Lots of glasses and plates and cups for a large family.
Grounds where well kept and very pretty.
The wife loved the flat screen tv and the PVR cable box.
A car is a necessity , it is a fair walk to any stores.
Beach is about 25K /18 miles
Fort myers was better than Sanibel and there was no toll to go over the bridge.
We had a great time and will return in the future.

Great again

Our second holiday in the villa proved to be even more enjoyable than the first as we were more familiar with the area.
One of our party is disabled and the villa, being single story, met all of her mobility needs.
The villa is light, spacious, is fully equipped and is furnished and maintained to exceptionally high standards. We can't imagine holidays now without a pool.
A great variety of restauarants, beaches, shops, etc. are but short drives away.
We reckon that the best place to experience alligators is on an air boat at Lake Trafford.
Dealing direct with the owner, Sheila, was easy. She provided all the information that we needed and the whole process was completely problem free.

Would not hesitate to recommend to all.
Already planning our third visit in 2010.
