Accomodation

Our home is located in South Fort Myers, approximately a 10 minute drive from Fort Myers Beach and the renowned islands of Sanibel and Captiva. Within the immediate locality (2 minutes) are a large supermarket (Public), chemist, doctor, dentist, post office, Blockbuster and numerous restaurants. Also within easy reach are outlet stores, shopping malls, multi-screen cinema. Travelling to our home is easy, the nearest airport being Fort Myers/SW Florida International Airport (20 mins), alternatively it is freeway virtually all the way to Miami (2.5 hours, Tampa (2 hours) or Orlando (3 hours). Exact directions are available on request.

Activities

At Fort Myers beach area you will find numerous restaurants, bars (many with 'live' music) and watersports- including jet-kis, parasailing, water-skiing and boat trips. Sanibel and Captiva Islands are renowned for having some of the best shelling beaches in the world and nature reserves which can be explored by car, bike or kayak. The Evergaldes National Park, with its famous airboat rides and abundance of Florida wildlife is just over an hour from our home. Family days out include water theme parks (Cape Coral & Estero Island), animal sanctuaries.

Golf Information:

Known as the 'Golf Course Capital of the World' the Greater Naples- Fort Myers area boasts more golf courses per capita than any area in the USA. There are more than 50 courses located within in 30 minute drive of our home.
