Notes: We have tried to avoid making ‘rules and regulations’ and hope that the following guidance in plain English will be sufficient. •Please do not put any thing, other than soft toilet roll paper, down the upstairs toilet. The toilet uses a “shredder” and is not designed for sanitation products, cotton wool, etc. (This is a common system in many European countries and can be blocked easily if misused). If the system becomes blocked due to misuse and a plumber is required, the cost in full shall be paid by the persons renting the cottage. •Please do not use candles in the cottage. We do have smoke alarms but candles are dangerous. Any candles on display are for decoration only. Please remove outdoor shoes before going upstairs. No dogs are allowed. We ask guests who do wish to smoke to please do so outside the cottage. Please bring table umbrellas inside on a wet or windy day. The door leading from the kitchen to the upstairs lobby should remain closed on a night.

BEST XMAS/NEW YEAR EVER.

Review Submitted: January 1, 2012 Date of Stay: December 2011
WE ARRIVED BEFORE XMAS FOR A LONG BREAK. WE HAD A GREAT TIME, THE HOUSE IS EXCELLENT AND WELL EQUIPT, IT HAS OIL CENTRAL HEATING WHICH KEPT US WARM DAY AND NIGHT. THE VILLAGE IS BEAUTIFUL AND WE HAD A COUPLE OF DAYS OUT AT THE BEACH WHICH WAS ALSO FANTASTIC. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Owner's Response: Thanks, glad you had a great time.

August 2010

Review Submitted: September 7, 2010 Date of Stay: August 2010
A lovely property to stay in with lots of room and very comfortable. Well maintained with plenty of books, games and kitchen/dining equipment. The village has a well stocked supermarket so staying here is very easy and relaxing. Belle-isle-en-Terre has no immediately local attractions so it's necessary to drive out each day to keep children happy, but there's plenty to do within a reasonable distance.

A Truly relaxing two weeks..

Review Submitted: September 17, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2007
We thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay at the property. The photographs don't do this very pleasant and spacious house justice. We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the house and its fabulous location. Belle Isle en Terre had everything at hand to make for a really great holiday in France. Beaches were an easy drive and the shops in town catered for all our needs. We had such a relaxing stay that we actually lost track of the days! We would highly recommend this property!!

Our holiday

Review Submitted: August 22, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
We had a fantastic holiday. The cottage is very homely and spacious, and set in a quiet and beautiful location. There are many old towns and villages nearby that are worth a sightseeing visit, Morlaix being one of them. Some of the beaches around Perros Guirec which is about 30 minutes drive away are quite beautiful also. We would certainly stay again.

Rented July 09

Review Submitted: August 10, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
Having booked at such late notice we had excellent service from the owner and their contact in France. The house is perfect for two families with young children but wouldn't say it's perfect for teenage children as the village is very quiet. Perfectly situated though for the village amenities with it only being a minutes walk to Patisseries and the local supermarket.Only complaint is that the garden is not huge but there is a large football pitch and play area in the village. It's also well located to visit the glorious beaches of Northern Brittany.
