Plougasnou is a small coastal village nestled between Primel-Trégestel and the bay of Morlaix. A rugged pink granite coastline of 17 km, having many secluded sandy coves. A paradise for Artists, nature lovers, bird watchers, or anyone who wants to escape, and enjoy a slower pace of life. A place to get away from it all, yet Morlaix is only 19km away. The Cotes D’Armor cosmopolitan resorts such as Perros Guirec are only a short drive away. Plougasnou village has several restaurants, bars, Casino Supermarket, Butchers, Bread shops, Post Office, craft shops, etc. Plougasnou has 3 beautiful sandy beaches which are easily accessible, never too busy (even in the height of the season).

Luxury fitted kitchen: The kitchen is fully fitted with bespoke oak cupboards, a beautiful 900mm stainless steel cooker (5 gas hobs) with matching extractor fan. Matching crockery, cutlery etc. There is a iron and ironing board, clothes horse and a terrace especially for hanging out your clothes.

Activities for children/adults: Theme park for children and adults at Brest. Also at Brest - Oceanopolis the first big exterior aquarium in Europe.

Elderly and infirm clients: There are 6 steps down to the cottage, from the back entrance, or more steeper ones up to the cottage, from the private drive, but once inside the cottage you have a double bedroom, a bathroom next door, then a separate toilet, sitting room and kitchen. All down stair rooms enjoy fabulous sea views. The BBQ and sun terrace are on this level too, So after the initial steps it is very suitable for the elderly. My elderly parents enjoy the fact that you can sit in the down stairs rooms and enjoy the superb views without going outside. Then they can walk easily to the sun terrace if they prefer to sit outside.

Golf: Brittany is overloaded with golf courses, all beautifully maintained by the French but very much underused. One of the closest courses is the Brest Iroise course at Landernaeu at 15MN of cottage. It's 6296 yards and Par 71, set in the heart of wild moors offering unforgettable views of Brest harbour. It's one of the most challenging in Brittany and ranked 13 th in all of France. There's also a 9 hole course where beginners can warm up first...

Exploring the beautiful beaches, going out for meals, or staying in for a BBQ, then back to the beach for an evening swim, then back to the beautiful comfortable house for a DVD or good old Eastenders!! Reading, laughing and relaxing. Beautiful weather, beautiful house and a beautiful place. ( N,D,A & I - London)

Today our last for this visit, we have spent all day on the beach of Primel-Tregesel, it is breathtakingly beautiful, just as the views from this house! Hope to be back soon. (DV – Stockholm)

Comfortable and spacious base.

This was our first time staying in Northern Brittany although we have previously travelled through when venturing further south.
What a great place to stay, this is an ideal property for families, spacious, clean and ideal for access to some terrific local beaches, throw in lovely views across the bay, glowing sunsets and a glass of wine and its pretty close to perfection.
On a personal note I would prefer a few less shrubs and a little larger area for outside dining which is just great when the sun shines.
Local town a few minutes up the road which offers a great bakery, a supermarket, petrol (good idea to fill up as we didn't find too many filling stations locally).
We stayed for one week but would have been very happy extending that for the same again, now if someone can sort out the exchange rate please !!!!
Thanks Linda and John, it is somewhat of a gamble trying somewhere new so thank you for helping to make our stay so pleasant.
