Brittany riverside cottage - four ensuite bedrooms

Between St Malo/Dinard (with beaches) and the medieval port of Dinan, La Moinerie is a pair of terraced fisherman's cottages sitting 50 meters from the riverbank. It is situated at the end of a winding country lane and faces the beautiful River Rance. Entrance to the house is from the lane to the rear and there is a gravelled area for parking 2-3 cars. There is a wooden deck which catches the sun from lunchtime outside the principle door. The rest of the garden is put to lawn and runs along the back of the cottage. The setting of the house is very peaceful and there are stunning uninterrupted views over the river from the sitting room which is on the middle of the three floors. There is a slipway and pontoon just in front of the house so it is well placed for easy launching.

Notes:

The entrance on the first floor leads into a carpeted dining room/kitchen with a large fridge/freezer, modern kitchen units and a calor gas cooker. There is a large pine dining table and chairs and a woodburning stove. This leads into a spacious sitting room. From the sitting room there is a staircase to the ground floor which has two bedrooms with bathrooms en suite. One room has twin beds and the bathroom has a w.c. and hip bath; the second room has a double bed - the bathroom has a w.c. and a conventional bath and also houses an automatic washing machine and tumble drier. There is a shower fitment in both bathrooms. Separate taircases lead from the two first floor rooms up to two almost identical bedrooms, one with two single beds : one of which is a large cast iron one. The other bedroom has a regular sized double bed. Each of these bedrooms has its own w.c., washbasin and shower. There is electric central heating throughout.
