Quistinic is situated in the heavily-wooded Blavet valley where the river turns sharply towards Hennebont and the coast. Just along the valley the restored 16th century hamlet of Poul Fétan has been brought to life. Visitors may watch demonstrations of rural tasks of that period, take a drink and snack at the bar, and buy local crafts. During summer months at nearby Pont Augan one can hire kayaks, relax over a restaurant meal, take a pleasure boat trip to see more of the countryside bordering the river, or enjoy a cycle ride along the towpath. Fishing is a popular local pastime and there is easy access along the banks to the water. For those who wish to relax, Quistinic is an ideal location, and days can be spent without travelling far afield. However, there is much to explore within the region in any direction. At the end of an active day out, it is good to return to one's own space in the comfort of La Chouette or La Vigne
