Immaculate Gite in the midst of beautiful French countryside.
The property is located in a quiet, rural area with virtually no passing traffic. Short drive away is the local Village of Baud with a variety of shops and a well stocked supermarket. The owners Andrew & Lyndsey live on site and couldn't have been more helpful. They responded quickly to e mails when making the booking and continued with this high standard once we were there. They took the time to find out what interested us and then recommended places we could visit to accord with those interests in the local area. The gite was spotlessly clean and comfortable with all facilities we could have hoped for. Well positioned for sight seeing - our only regret was that we only booked for a week! We will definitely return. Would unreservedly recommend.

Having trawled through various we came across this cottage by chance and decided to book based on the piccies and are we glad that we did.
The booking process was simple, Lindsey and Andrew always returned e-mails to the various questions we had. On arrival we were greeted and shown around the cottage and then left to settle in after being given and invitation to a small drinks get together the next day.
The cottage was spotless and beautifully presented with all the mod cons....the view from the garden was that of open fields and beautiful sunsets. Situated close to Baud meant we could get supplies when needed and we were only a 1/2 hour drive from the beaches and small ports. We have two daughters 6 and 3 who could play in the garden on the swings and with the toys stored nearby in a safe environment.
This is a great place to wind down from the fast pace of life and we will definately be returning to re charge our batteries. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Es war der erste Auslandsurlaub mit unseren beiden sehr bewegungsbedürftigen Jungs (9 und 11 Jahre). Das Cottage ist sehr großzügig, gut aufgeteilt, hochwertig ausgestattet und bietet auch bei Regenwetter üppig Raum, sich innerhalb der 4 Wände zu beschäftigen. (Dies war bei uns glücklicherweise nicht erforderlich, wir hatten 5 von 6 Tagen das beste Frühsommerwetter, das man sich wünschen kann) Vor dem Haus auf dem geschotterten Hof sowie auf der dazugehörenden Rasenfläche mit Schaukel ist viel Bewegung möglich. Hinter dem Haus gehört ein abgegrenzter Rasenbereich mit Gartentisch, Stühlen sowie Liegestühlen zum Objekt (dort haben wir immer im Freien gefrühstückt und zu Abend gegessen). Das Anwesen liegt sehr ruhig abseits der kleinen Ortschaft.
Zum Meer ist man gut 20 min. mit dem Auto unterwegs. Im Umkreis von 30 bis 45 Autominuten sind etliche Sehenswürdigkeiten erreichbar, die wir in unserer Ferienwoche nicht annähernd erschöpfend auskosten konnten.
Wir haben den Aufenthalt auf Clistivan und die warmherzige und hilfsbereite Betreuung durch die Gastgeber sehr genossen und werden zu gegebener Zeit wohl auch wiederkommen.
Wir wünschen allen "Nachfolgern" so tolle Ferien, wie wir sie hatten.
