Notes to the rental rates

• To reserve the property the client should submit a non refundable deposit of 25% of the total rent due. Following receipt of this deposit, the owner will confirm the booking. This confirmation is the formal acceptance of the booking.
  The balance of the rent together with the security deposit (see below) is payable not less than eight weeks before the start of the rental period. If payment is not received by the due date, the Owner reserves the right to give notice in writing that the reservation is cancelled. The Client will remain liable for the balance of the rent unless the Owner is able to re-rent the property.
  
• A security deposit of £250 is required in case of, for example, damage to the property or its contents. However the sum reserved by this clause shall not limit the Client's liability to the Owner. The Owner will account to the Client for the security deposit and refund the balance due within two weeks from the end of the rental period.
  
• Subject to the above, in the event of cancellation, refunds of amounts paid will be made if the Owner is able to re-let the property, and any expenses or losses incurred in so doing will be deducted from the refundable amount. The Client is strongly recommended to arrange a comprehensive travel insurance policy (including cancellation cover) and to have full cover for the party's personal belongings, public liability etc., since these are not covered by the Owner's insurance.

There is a fine 18 hole course at Plumeur Bodu (11km) Tel +33 (0)2 96 23 87 34. Do please ask for a full list of activities in the area, there are many other centres for boating, diving, fishing, golf tennis etc. in the area as well as a skate park and karting !

Trips to islands.

'Vedettes' sail frequently from Perros Guirec (6km) to the Sept Iles islands about 8km offshore and also visible from the house. You visit the Continent's largest colony of Gannets with over 20,000 breeding pairs and land on the Ile des Moins with its ruined fort and lighthouse. Tel +33 (0)2 96 91 10 00. Ferries also run regularly to the spectacular Ile de Brehat from Perros Guirec (6km) and Paimpol (25km). This island is well worth a day trip.
