This luxurious 16th century cottage situated between Chablis and Beaune, with oak beamed ceiling, burgundian flagstone flooring and traditional burgundian fireplace is a great place to relax in this undiscovered region of Burgundy. It is enclosed in a large courtyard and has a large private garden. It is a stone's throw from the Burgundian canal and is an ideal location to explore the countryside. We would like to offer you a sample of our little paradise, romantic, very comfortable and well equipped and now with free wifi access throughout the property.

This charming cottage is all on one level. Steps from the large courtyard lead up to the house and into a large oak beamed living and dining area with open fireplace. French doors lead directly into the private garden, safe for children. There is a fully fitted kitchen, 3 double bedrooms, 1 twin bedded room ensuite bathroom, WC, washbasin, 2nd twin bedded room; 1 double bed room, separate shower room, wash hand basin, separate WC. The lounge is equipped with CD player and DVD player, satellite TV, library, games. In an enclosed area of the grounds there is a heated swimming pool, shared with guests from SPRING COTTAGE. Sun lounge's and cushions are provided as well as a solar powered shower. There is also table tennis and boules. The large enclosed courtyard makes it safe for cars to be parked safely indoors. Lots of space to store golf equipment and bikes. Free 24 / 7 wifi access throughout the property.

Burgundy's reputation for its wine is matched by the region's reputation for gastronomy and traditional cuisine. The countryside is a mixture of rolling hills, criss-crossed with vineyards, forests, rivers. Fulvy is a charming medieval village and provides an ideal base for exploring the region. Famous vineyards i.e. Chablis and famous Chateaux and Abbeys all within easy reach. Wonderful restaurants in the area and with lots of tips from us and above all, a good nose, you will not be disappointed. Don't forget to try some of the tantalising delicacies, i.e. Epoisses cheese, Flavigny's aniseed balls, Dijon's mustard and gingerbread - even a saint would be tempted. The Burgundy canal is just 3min walk away, ideal to have a picnic or for long walks or cycling - take your pick, nature will make you forget your worries.

  • The property is available all year round, from January to December. Rental is from Saturday to Saturday except in low season when the property can be rented for shorter periods and weekends at a reduced rate, contact the owners for details. Arrival time must be after 4 pm and departure not later than 10 am. Please contact the owner if your arrival is delayed by more than 2 hours.
  • Bath Towel hire €6 per person, per week (1 large, 1 medium, 1 glove).
    Pool towel hire €4 per person per week (1 large pool towel).
    Heating available locally upon request.
    Fire wood, 15euros per wheel barrow.
    Final cleaning €50, to be paid locally.

The warmth of your welcome and your interest in our welfare has been greatly appreciated. We loved visiting various places of interest you recommended and will go home with many happy memories.
'Lovely cottage, lovely weather, very relaxing time. The wineries were great and the little villages quaint. Great place to come to from the other side of the world. Helena and Moe are the perfect hosts.'
