Charming holiday Cottages heated pool free wifi near Chablis , Burgundy

This charming 16th century cottage situated between Chablis and Beaune, with oak beamed ceiling, Burgundian flagstone flooring and fireplace is a great place to relax in this undiscovered region of Burgundy. Le Petit Village is made up of three properties surrounding a large central enclosed courtyard. Spring Cottage is opposite the main house and our other gite, Coach House is adjacent to the main house. Spring Cottage has a large private garden and a gravelled terrace with swings at the side of the property. It is a stone's throw from the Burgundy canal and is an ideal location to explore the countryside. In the summer, with the cottage covered with Virginia creeper and surrounded by flowers, it is romantic, very comfortable and well equipped and now with free 24/7 wifi access throughout the property. There is also a heated swimming pool which is shared with Coach House.

This charming cottage is all on one level. Steps from the large courtyard lead up to the house and into a large oak beamed living and dining area with open fireplace. French doors lead directly into the private garden, safe for children. There is a fully fitted kitchen, 3 double bedrooms; 1 twin bedded room with ensuite bathroom, WC, washbasin, 2nd twin bedded room; 1 double bed room, separate shower room, wash hand basin, separate WC. The lounge is equipped with British and French satellite TV, DVD/CD players. There is free 24 / 7 wifi access throughout the property. In an enclosed area of the grounds there is a heated swimming pool, open from the 1st of May to the 30th of September, shared with guests from SPRING COTTAGE. Sun loungers and cushions are provided as well as a solar powered shower. There is also table tennis and boules and toys for younger children. The large enclosed courtyard has secure parking. Lots of space to store bikes or golf equipment.

Burgundy's reputation for its wine is matched by the region's reputation for gastronomy and traditional cuisine. The countryside is a mixture of rolling hills, criss-crossed with vineyards, forests, rivers. Fulvy is a charming medieval village and provides an ideal base for exploring the region. Famous vineyards i.e. Chablis and famous Chateaux and Abbeys all within easy reach. Wonderful restaurants in the area and with lots of tips from us and above all, a good nose, you will not be disappointed. Don't forget to try some of the tantalising delicacies, i.e. Epoisses cheese, Flavigny's aniseed balls, Dijon's mustard and gingerbread. The Burgundy canal and the Armancon river are just a 3min walk away, ideal to have a picnic, paddling or for long walks or cycling. Lots of activities for children in high season.

  • The property is available all year round, from January to December. Rental is from Saturday to Saturday except in low season when the property can be rented for shorter periods and weekends at a reduced rate, contact the owners for details. Arrival time must be after 4 pm and departure not later than 10 am. Please contact the owner if your arrival is delayed by more than 2 hours.
  • Bath Towel hire €6 per person, per week (1 large, 1 medium, 1 glove).
    Pool towel hire €4 per person per week (1 large pool towel).
    Heating available locally upon request.
    Fire wood, 15euros per wheel barrow.
    Final cleaning €50, to be paid locally.
    Dogs and Cats; €5 per day
    Free 24 / 7 wifi access throughout the property.
