Third floor traditional old French apartment. Double bedroom with access to the terrace and bathroom, living room with stereo and satellite TV and access to the terrace and kitchen. Newly fitted (Jan 2006) galley kitchen with fridge/freezer, microwave, oven, gas hob and washing machine. South facing terrace (10msq) with table and 2 chairs. Tiled bathroom with shower, toilet and hand-basin, also newly refitted in January 2006. There is gas central heating for the cooler months. We now have WIFI internet for no extra charge!

Antibes is a charming, historic old town with countless boutiques, bars and restaurants (several with private beaches), a large market place hosts the traditional provencal market each morning and the beaches are a moments walk away. Situated between Nice and Cannes we are only 15 kilometeres from Nice International Airport (served by many low cost carriers)and within walking distance of the SNCF station (TGV and regional trains).

  • There is an obligatory cleaning and laundry fee of 60.00 Euros which is payable on departure.
  • A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the rental price is payable at the time of booking and the outstanding balance is payable 4 weeks prior to the commencement of the rental.

For the last two years my partner and I have rented this property for our summer break.
The reasons for returning again are quite simple we could not better both our desnitation or the apartment.
On arrival we were greeted by Connie who made us more than welcome (as a first contact we rate her very highly) nothing was to much trouble even small details like cold bottled water were provided and of course a very warm welcome.
We love the apartment it is very clean and well maintained
and the location is excellent,you really dont need a car as everything you need is only a short walk away.I have no doubt that we will return again at some point next year and have no problem in recommending this property as a great holiday base.

If you like holidays in modern hotels and apartments then this property is not for you. But if like us, you like to experience the local way of living on holiday, with real neighbours rather than other tourists then you will love having your own little piece of France - even if its only for a week! The apartment is perfect for 2 people, very clean and with everything provided. There are numerous restaurants, bars and shops right on the doorstep and yet it is remarkably quiet. We hired a car as we like to get out and about visiting the beautiful Provencal villages like Gourdan, Vence, Biot and Castellane. All the main resorts are easily accessible by car or train but for a relaxing day on the beach we would recommend Agay, a little way down the coast but much less commercial.

a perfect little apartment from which to base yourself. clean and comfortable and ideal for couples, and the steps certainly keep you fit. a lovely verandah for breakfast and early evening drinks was ideal. the market is just around the corner, as is the beach. my only gripe was the cleaning charge at the end of the stay which seemed rather excessive and i would have preferred in the cost of the room.

antibes is expensive foodwise, be prepared, and because its quite touristy the price doesnt always reflect the quality. that said we had some of the best food weve ever eaten this holiday. for real value i think its best to hire a car and head inland away from the crowds. the scenery is magnificent and pretty much any village will have a reputable restaurant at cheaper prices

With regard to the cleaning charge - this is made 100% clear at the time of booking and there is a clause in the booking form, before the signature, to make sure that you understand about this charge. By making everyone aware of this we never usually have any problems or complaints. It is normal in France to pay extra for cleaning. I hope plenty of people continue to enjoy the apartment.

My wife and I celebrated our 20th anniversary in old Antibes. The apartment was perfect and extremely well situated. We spent all of our mornings and most evenings on the terrace enjoying breakfast and dinner. We loved old Antibes and the apartment. The rennovated kitchen and bath were well equiped. The bed was very comfortable. The property manager was very friendly and helpful. I have nothing bad to say about the apartment. It was a totally positive experience.

A very quiet, cosy, comfortable apartment. It was very clean and modern, though in keeping with it's ancient building. The stairs were a bit of a shock at first but we got used to them! Very close to all the joys of Antibes, especially the market, marina, bars and restaurants. Only suitable for couples as it was quite small but perfectly formed. The owners were very helpful and arranged a transfer from the airport as our flight was quite late. The very friendly property manager met us and, as she only lived in the next block, was on hand. We used public transport to get around, which was plentiful and reliable. We will be returning as well as recommending it to friends and family.
