Luxury two bedroom third floor (with lift) self-catering apartment in one of the most sought after modern buildings in quiet but central position in Juan-les-Pins. Spacious living room with two double sofa beds, dining area, TV with satellite facility, DVD,wifi, Two air-conditioned bedrooms each with twin beds, floor to ceiling cupboards. Two bathrooms with shower and WC.

Fully equipped kitchen, each room gives onto generous balcony (dining table and separate coffee/reading area) which surrounds the apartment facing south (towards the sea view) and west (with stunning sunsets over the mountains) Shared swimming pool and tennis court in the landscaped grounds.

Easy transport from Nice airport, (take No 250 airport bus direct to La Regence, Juan-les-Pins,) train (Juan-les-Pins station is just 10 minutes walk away) or car. Private taxi (60 euros each way available on request). Locally train, bus and boat are excellent, very little need for a car (hire available nearby)

Antibes Juan-les-Pins is situated between Nice and Cannes on the mediterranean coast.Antibes,one of the oldest towns on the French Riviera,with cobbled streets, local markets,famous pleasure yacht harbour,the Picasso museum, and Fort Carre is about 15 minutes walk away. Juan-les-Pins hosts the jazz festival,and is busy with restaurants, shops, nightclubs,the casino and sandy beaches and the centre of town is just a few minutes away through the 'Pinede' green park areas, where you can stop to watch a game of boules. Within half an hour's drive you can access the foothills of the Alps, with stunning scenery, gorges and charming medieval villages. Monaco and Nice are easily accesed by car (about 30 minutes) or train while Cannes ( known for the Film festival and celeb spotting) takes 10 minutes in the car or a few minutes on the train. St Tropez can be reached by ferry across the bay. The nearest ski resort is about an hour's drive away.

Restaurants / shopping: Locally most of the shopping is boutique/designer small shops, whilst provisions are available from a number of medium sized supermarkets and the market in Antibes centre. Carrefour hypermarket and out of town shopping centres are all a short car drive away. Restaurants are so prolific that it is difficult to know where to start, suffice to say that they are many and varied in both quality and price!

Excellent base for family holiday

We have stayed in this apartment twice & both times we have had an excellent time. Discriptions of the property are very accurate. We have two kids (3 & 5 yr old) & the extra bathroom is a godsend. Both bathrooms have been refurbished to a very high quality on a par with any hotel. The apartment is very centrally located close to beach train station carry outs, supermarket & local restaurants. There is a local bakery which you can see from the patio & it takes 5 minutes in the morning to walk down and get steaming hot croissants & baguettes plus its does great pastries as well. The main living room is huge and has two bed settees in it plus if you bring your sky card there is a sky box as well as a video & DVD.The place was spotless when we arrived. The residents in the apartment are very friendly as well. Kitchen is adequate to cope with all your needs and has everything to make the self-catering experience excellent.
The complex is very secure with access restricted to those with specific keys to activate the doors. There are lots for the kids to do in and around Juan Les Pins and if you take your kids to the play park in the evening you’ll have the chance to meet to the locals. We found everywhere very welcoming to families. Take the little train to Antibes kids will love it and there’s a great market there as well with some great local wines available. Personably I don’t believe you need a car the rail system is so good and most of the stations are situated in the centre of the towns (exception Monaco take a taxi to the centre trust me you don’t want to walk). I’ll not bore you with all the things you can do as the guide books do that but if you’re a family this is the place to stay as you’re so near to everything. Our kids loved the place & still talk about it. Views at night from the patio are lovely and if you’re lucky enough to be there for the music festival then you’ll benefit from the sounds of jazz wafting up over the patio at night & with a good bottle of wine its hard to beat while the kids sleep.

Excellent Location.

My two friends and myself have just come back from a weekend staying at this apartment. It was only 20 minutes from the airport, made all the easier by Fred, the caretaker, who picked us up on time and took us to the apartment. He even put some chilled wine in the fridge for us on arrival as we got there quite late. The apartment has an amazing terrace, very large, sunny with two seating areas and beautiful views of the rooftops and mountains and you can just about see the sea too.

The two shower rooms were clean the bedrooms were very comfortable, made even more so as there was air conditioning in them. We didn't do any cooking of any kind but there is a fully equipped kitchen with large fridge/ freezer and washing machine which is very useful on holiday.

The apartment was only 3-4 minutes walk from the bustling streets of Juan les Pins but you really wouldn't know as the apartment was so quiet. We spent each day on a private beach and they were amazing, a real treat for us as we did not have our children with us. Though there were lots of families around this would be a great place to bring the kids too.

We took our own beach towels and the only minor niggle we had was that we only received one towel each in the apartment and would have been nice to have two.

I would recommend this property to any of my friends looking for a fun weekend away but it would also be an excellent place to bring my 8 year old son too.

The towel issue is an excellent point: the reason I only leave one is because the two bathroom (large but not enormous) rails struggle a bit when there are a number of people staying, and then we have the issue of sodden towels lying on the floors, which guests also don't like. So I'm very happy to provide extra towels if these are required, please do not hesitate to ask, and they will appear!

clean and comfortable holliday rental

we stayed in this lovely little apartment for several days in february. the apartment was very clean and quiet and the location was great. we could walk to the beach, bakery, grocery stores and restaurants in just a couple of minutes. the apartment has a lovely wrap around balcony with a beautiful view. the apartment was spacious and had eveything we needed. it was very bright and comfortabe and fred was around to help us with anything we needed. we plan on returning

this apartment was dirty and mould in the fridge with leftover food even after paying for cleaning
Owner's Response: I am unable to judge whether this review is justified since I was not given a chance to investigate at the time, and no contact has been made. There is free wifi in the apartment and I will always respond to a text or call, so I would be very grateful, if there are concerns, if my guests would let me know, and I will respond immediately. It is not really fair to post a review of this nature after the event, when there is no opportunity to verify the situation and take action if necessary.

For the record, I have tried to talk to the cleaner and am told that the leftover food was offered and accepted, as a friendly gesture, not just left moulding in the fridge. I am assured that cleaning was of the usual high standard.

I'm sorry these guests felt let down, it's a pity I was not given an opportunity to help at the time, because I would have done my all to try to make their stay a more positive one.

Thoroughly recommended!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment and the town were excellent. I didn't realise how easy it would be to get around the immediate area, and how close it was to the shops and restaurants. In the past when we've stayed in places that have pool and tennis courts it's usually been a case of having to get in the car to go, or the facilities haven't been that great - not the case here though. I would imagine during the summer trying to get about by car must be a nightmare - I can see why you use the trains.How handy it is for teenagers wanting to go into town, but also how quiet it is as well for adults not wanting to hear all the noise.
Funnily enough we were talking about the possibility of the same time next year. The weather was perfect for us. It was actually slightly warmer than we were expecting - mostly in the mid to upper 20's.
You didn't mention anything about celeb spotting! Whilst deciding where to eat one evening the youngest looked into the first place on the beach and said that Arsene Wenger (Arsenal manager) was having dinner - we thought he was joking, or it was someone like him. He was right!
Sharon popped to the local boulangerie and bumped into Bill Nighy - all very glamorous.
We also seemed to spend a lot of time trying to guess how much some of the larger boats cost as well.
