'Boulevard Albert 1er' is the gracious tree lined avenue which forms the very heart of Antibes town. The newly constructed apartment building - '26, Albert 1er' - is its most attractive new landmark. The luxurious entry to the residence is comparable to that of a 5 star hotel foyer. The apartment is on the fourth floor and has two bedrooms. The master has a double bed and ensuite bathroom (with bath and shower). The second bedroom has two single beds and separate shower room and WC. There is a spacious air-conditioned living/dining room with fully equipped open plan kitchen. There is a new leather suite, and 21' TV + DVD/CD player and Broadband Internet. The dining area has a breakfast bar in addition to the modern dining table. The living room has sliding patio doors onto a very sunny and spacious south facing terrace (with awning) which is in full sun from 9am to 5pm in summer. The building has the additional benefit of secure underground parking (small charge payable).

You will truly enjoy a stroll around its narrow streets lined with artisan shops and wonderful restaurants.  Don't miss the superb 'Marche Provencale in the centre of the old town. It is a riot of colour, and the sights, sounds and smells of the region. Have a seat at a pavement cafe and soak up the atmosphere of 'La Belle France', then wander toward the magnificent Port Vauban with its Millionaire Yachts lining the harbour.  Alternatively, a three minute walk takes you to one of the many beaches where you can have a dip in the warm Meditterranean waters, top up your Riviera sun-tan and admire the beautiful people!  Antibes is superbly located for touring the whole of the magnificent French Riviera, from St.Tropez to Monaco and beyond. The main coastal highway (A8) is just 5 minutes drive from your front door.

Winter Sports: Did we mention that Antibes is also a great Skiing venue? Its one of the other amazing aspects of the area that you can lie on the beach in the morning but be on the ski slopes in the afternoon. Antibes has at least three excellent ski resorts within one and a half hours journey by road, or even less. During the peak winter season a Ski Bus operates from the Place De Gaulle in Antibes (just 5 minutes walk from the apartment), and it reaches Auron in just one hour. The Tourist Information Office in the Place De Gaulle provides full information on the bus timetable and cost of tickets.

Golf: There are numerous excellent Golf courses within easy reach of Antibes. The private section of our own website has links to some useful websites to help you with your golfing plans. A password is provided to all our guests!

Great Family Holiday Apartment

This summer we went for the 2nd time to the appartment and enjoyed our 2 weeks-stay very much. The location of this appartment is just fantastic. Everything is in walking distance: the beach, the old town, the shops. In fact, you don't need a car there. The appartment itself is spaceous with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and is very well equiped, even incl. a washing machine. This year, we made very intensively use of the WLAN.
With our 2 boys, 5 and 7 years old, we daily went to the beach. The beach is gently sloping and suited for children.
We really can recommend this appartment!!

Superb, modern apartment

We have just spent a week in this excellent modern apartment with every possible convenience.

The rooms are large, light and airy and the spacious balcony can be enjoyed in the sunlight or with the canopy down to create a secluded, atmospheric space.

The owners have gone to great trouble to provide every home comfort and have supplied every detail on how to quickly get the best from everything.

The block itself is new and sophisticated with a smooth, efficient lift and a reassuring security system that we quickly got used to. The block is located on a boulevard with the widest pavements and is a five-minute walk to the sea and to the old town.

Our days always began with a stroll to buy our croissants in Rue de la Republique and we hardly needed to walk any further to get to the charming town beach. The sun shone throughout the whole September week we were there but we had to use one of our beach sessions to see the Picasso museum as it has always been closed on previous visits to Antibes.

We have always recommended the town to friends because it has something for everyone and would be a compelling place even if it were miles from the sea. One of our grown-up children came with us this time and we never have any trouble in persuading at least one of our off-spring to accompany us.

The traditional eating place for us on our last evening is the restaurant next to the English bookshop at the bottom of the ramp in Rue Aubernon.
Owner's Response: Antibes is a gourmets paradise, with several Michelin starred restaurants in the town. Our apartment is ideally located to allow easy access to all the best places - on foot. No need for a car, or 'designated driver'!

The Picasso museum just recently re-opened after a major refurbishment. Its a must see. less than ten minutes walk from us!

'The apartment was first class, centrally located and a short stroll from the old town, beaches and the rail station. This made for an excellent base from which to explore Antibes and the region. We did day trips to Nice, Grasse and Eze and could have done a lot more, but we wanted to avoid the crowds at Cannes (film festival) and Monaco (grand prix) which spanned the 10 days we were there. The beach at Antibes old town is perfect, our young children enjoyed swimming in the sea in complete safety and Antibes has a classy and relaxed feel about it which suited us down to the ground.

The apartment is spacious, spotlessly clean and perfectly equipped with everything we needed to make this home from home. There is a good quality supermarket about 100 m away and the tourist office is also very close by, so everything is within easy reach, including an abundance of restaurants catering to every taste.

We couldn't recommend this apartment and holiday destination highly enough. Every part of the booking service was seamless with attention to detail. Well done Mike & Karen for making this a great experience for us, Alan, Jo, Joseph & Isabelle'

We stayed at this apartment in Antibes, September 2005 and loved it. The location is awesome. The walks to the old village by the cobbled streets, or breathtaking strolls along the ramparts add to the adventure. The choice of restaurants is superb....the Supermarché is just up the street. The short walks to the beaches are easy. The apartment is spotless and modern, very comfortable and secure. Yet you still have the great feeling of old France. The large terrasse is a great for morning coffee or evening wine. There would be no doubt that we would book it again.

Just wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed staying in your apartment. It worked out so well for us and our two children. We really appreciated being able to walk to the beach, to the playground, and old Antibes so easily. What a beautiful apartment to in a beautiful town.
It was like a breath of fresh air to stay somewhere so clean and in tip top condition within such easy reach of everything.
Antibes is an ideal location summer or winter or anytime in between. We visited in February during the childrens mid-term break, flying into Nice, car-hire was pre-arranged and the drive to Antibes very straight forward.
The apartment is in a great position, adjacent to the old town so that you can wander around the cobbled streets sampling the vast array of restaurants and the market where you can easily get carried away buying fresh fruit and vegtables, fish and cheeses and take them back to the apartment which is very well equipped with fridge, microwave, cooker, washing machine etc.

It was a great chance to test our cooking skills with such plentiful supplies of high quality food and still if we so wished, we could stroll to any number of restaurants or bars to be fed.

We wanted to try our hands at ski-ing but did not want to book a week-long ski holiday, the owner of the apartment recommended the ski resort of Auron for beginners such as ourselves and we set off at ease on a Wednesday morning about 10.30am. Our ski lesson was booked for 2.00pm with the ESF (Ecole Ski Francais) and we arrived at 12.00 midday. We went to the nearest ski shop and hired our ski equipment, all very easy, and did not realise that you can actually drive up to the side of the slopes so instead we purchased tickets for the cable car - which was probably more enjoyable than just driving in the car - and spent the next three hours with our instructor Sebastian. It was a great day but we all agreed that it was much nicer to be able to drive back down the mountains to Antibes rather than staying full time in Auron as it can be cold out of the sun, whereas in Antibes it was sunny - unbelieveable that you can be ski-ing one afternoon and walking around in the winter sunshine in the evening at the harbour area in Antibes.

There is a supermarche at the top of the Boulevard Albert a stroll from the apartment, which means if you do not feel like driving to Carrfourre you can still stock up on all necessities.

The beach is at the bottom of the Boulevard Albert and had views right across the bay towards Monaco and Cannes. If you hire a car you have the additional benefit of parking off street in the underground car park of the apartment block.

There is a very nice reception area and lift in the block and everything is kept in very good condition. We can't wait to go back in the summer and have already booked for our next winter ski break!!!!
