The apartment is situated in an attractive residential area of historic Antibes. The renovated building is some 500 feet above sea level, so there are stunning views of the sea, Antibes, Nice and the mountains. The apartment has a wide east facing balcony, which has sunlight from dawn to early afternoon. Inside, it has a large ,airy sitting room, with 2 double doors onto the balcony;the floors are tiled, and the furnishing is modern Habitat. the main bedroom also opens out onto the balcony. The rear of the apartment faces west, and gets sunlight from afternoon to dusk. Antibes town centre is 10 minutes drive (there is a regular bus service that stops just outside the building).Antibes offers both historical sites (Picasso museum, Cathedral, Fort Carre) and more modern activities (daily market, beaches, host of restaurants, and a large marina). It is also a good starting point for touring the Alpes Maritimes region, with its medieval perched villages, and spectacular gorges.

The apartment is located in an attractive residential district of historic Antibes, with abundant well manicured houses and gardens surrounding the Chateau. Being c.500 feet above sea level affords the apartment stunning views of the sea, Antibes, Nice and the mountains. Antibes town centre is only a 10 minute drive (there is a regular bus service that stops close to the Chateau); Antibes offers a wealth of history (Picasso museum, Fort Carre, Cathedral, and archaeological and naval museums), combined with with the bustle of a Provencal town with its daily market. There is a large marina, and a host of restaurants, from Michelin starred to 15 euro set menus, along with a choice of beaches (sand/pebbled, private/public). The Alpes Maritimes region offers a wide choice of places to visit, inland as well as along the coast - medieval villages perched on hill tops, spectacular gorges - along with cultural exhibitions and, of course, good cuisine!

We stayed for 8 nights in July 2009 (2 adults + 2 children age 14 and 9). Good location for exploring most of the French Riviera attractions. Modern and well maintained apartment with good size balcony. Beautiful view from the snow peaked Alpes Maritimes to Antibes. Big pool that we had mostly to ourselves. Convenient secure car park (you will need a car even if there is a regular bus service to Antibes). As we made most of our meals in the apartment, the only things we missed were a bigger oven and a dishwasher.

A view of the Riviera

We sayed here for a week in October and have previously stayed for a week in December. On both occasions we have enjoyed it immensely. There is a fantastic view of the sea and Les Alpes Maritime. Breakfast on the balcony watching the yachts is particularly enjoyable!

We drove to the Cap d''Antibes most days and particularly enjoyed our visits to the Garoupe Beach. We took long lunches either in Antibes or Juan-Les-Pins and ate at the apartment in the evening. We are going to go again!

Evenings of luxury on the balcony

We stayed at the apartment for a week and loved it. The apartment has really good facilties, nice cool bedrooms and most of all, a spectacular view. The only thing that we needed was a larger oven - because we did not have a single meal in the evenings down town :-). We spent every evening with homecooked dishes and chilled white wine on the bacony - enjoying the fabulous view over Cote d'Azur. No five star hotel could have matched that. And because our baby is an early riser, we had the enormous pleasure of seeing the sun rise over the mountains every morning. This apartment comes highly recommended.

An Apartment with a million dollar view

The apartment is beautiful. The views over the mountains, Nice and Antibes are stunning, especially at night. The apartment is well apointed and the pool is regularly maintained and also has a wonderful view. The apartment is secure and is serviced by an elevator.. and the neighbours went out of their way to befriend us ! A great experience all round, We would highly recomend this apartment.

A very comfortable apartment with everything that you would need, stunning panoramic views that are not captured fully on the web page, a quiet location, perfect for touring, a car is preferable, plenty to do, we enjoyed our stay there, kids and adults.
