This first floor apt. benefits from having the best location in Antibes for experiencing the full flavour of the Old Town, it's on Cours Massena in the heart of the Old Town. In the mornings, walk the 30 steps to the boulangerie for croissants and have an unbeatable breakfast on the balcony overlooking the famous 'Marche Provencal'. The apartment benefits from being double aspect, so is light and airy throughout, unusual in the Old Town. The large bedroom has full length fitted wardrobes, a ceiling fan and overlooks a quiet pedestrian street. There is an air-con. unit. The bathroom has bath and shower, there is a separate WC. A comfortable sofa also turns into a double bed in the living area. There is Sat. TV with news channels & free WiFi internet access. It's a couple of hundred meters to the beach, a lovely 4 min. stroll past cafes and restaurants, and through the arch of the 'ramparts', and past the 'smaller' yachts of the marina. Antibes is known for its yacht marina, the largest in Europe, with its International Quay, which is home to some of the biggest ’Megayachts’ in the World, its Provencal market, Picasso museum and medieval Ramparts. It has its own sheltered, sandy beach, and is within walking distance to several others. The Provencal fresh produce market runs every day in the summer and is not to be missed. In the evenings it turns into an outdoor restaurant scene, sharing the space with local artists’ stalls. Just behind the market is Antibes’s Cathedral, the setting for outdoor concerts in the summer months. The Old Town is full of lovely cobbled shopping streets, pavement cafes and countless restaurants to choose from. Thursdays is market day in the Old Town with thousands of stalls spread all over, selling anything from bikinis to carpets. On Saturdays, Place National is the setting for an Antiques market. Nearby Juan-les-Pins is a major holiday destination, with a casino and nightclubs.

Additional information about rental rates

  • A deposit of 25% is required at the time of booking, with the balance to be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival. Payment to be made by bank transfer in euros, (note that this could incur a charge to be met by sender), French euro cheque or with a credit/debit card using PayPal. Towels and linens are provided, including beach towels. There is a final cleaning and laundry fee of 50 euros payable on departure.
    On arrival you will be met at the apartment, and given two sets of keys. The security and key deposit of 200 euros(or equivalent in pounds) will be collected in cash at this time, to be returned on departure less any breakages or losses.
    Please note that checking after 9pm. can not be facilitated.

Ski: There are several ski fields within a short drive from Antibes, Auron and Isola 2000 being the most popular, and at only 90min drive away they are popular for a day trip.

Golf: There are many fabulous golf courses in the area, all within a 30/40min drive of Antibes, including the Royal Mougins which is one of the best in France.

We had been to Antibes on a number of occasions but this was the first time we had stayed in the town. The apartment was fantastic, spotlessly clean and excellently equipped. The air conditioning and the fans provided welcome respite from the July heat. Michelle's attention to detail allows the visitor to relax and enjoy a hassle free holiday.The location was superb, we loved sitting on the balcony in the mornings and evenings and also strolling through the markets and the narrow, flower filled streets. Antibes has everything to offer the visitor: great sightseeing, beach within short walking distance, and many bars and restaurants to choose from. We would highly recommend this apartment to our family and friends.

A taste of life in Antibe..perfect

We have just spent a week in Michelle's lovely apartment, the location is superb, from shopping in the fantastic daily market, strolling to the beach, popping through the archway to the ramparts and the Picasso Museum. We enjoyed breakfast on the balcony watching Antibe come to life and again for a glass of chilled rose in the evenings it felt like our own little cafe.
Despite the central location once the shutters are closed at night it is a very peaceful place.Michelle is welcoming and professional and has equipped the flat with all you need.
To soak up the atmosphere of this lovely old town we would definately recommend a stay here.

We are in our 60's and spent 2 glorious weeks in Michelle's apartment in the Old Town in Antibes in May 2009. The apartment is very comfortable and well equipped and within walking distance of everything. We would highly recommend the apartment to anyone who is considering going to Antibes. Going to the market everyday to pick up fresh provisions was an added bonus. Hope to be back next year.

So tasteful, clean and comfortable!
We have had a wonderful week in this lovely apartment. It's not often you can say that a bed is like the one you have at home, but this is, we have slept so well.
We also appreciate the thoughtfulness with many small details. We have felt 'at home' and are now leaving for cold and rainy Sweden, but we will be back!

We are recently retired and were looking for somewhere where we could enjoy a taste of the French way of life, if only peripherally, and some warm winter sunshine.
The apartment and Antibes met our criteria wonderfully. The apartment is very comfortable and more than adequately equipped.
As others have commented, the location is superb. We enjoyed shopping every day in the market, the fresh food and wine were greatly enjoyed.
As for the weather...excellent !
