Fabulous location, balcony overlooking Provencal Market, Old Town.

This first floor apt. benefits from having the best location in Antibes for experiencing the full flavour of the Old Town, it's on Cours Massena in the heart of the Old Town. In the mornings, walk the 30 steps to the boulangerie while your partner puts the coffee on and sets the table on the balcony to have an unbeatable breakfast overlooking the famous' Marche Provencal'. The apartment benefits from being double aspect, so is light and airy throughout, unusual in the old town. The very large bedroom has full length fitted wardrobes, a ceiling fan and overlooks a very quiet pedestrian street. There is also an air-con. unit. The bathroom has bath and shower, there is a separate WC. A comfortable sofa also turns into a double bed in the living area. There is Sat. TV and WiFi . It's a couple of hundred meters to the beach, a lovely 4 min. stroll past cafes and restaurants, and through the arch of the 'ramparts', and past some of the 'smaller' yachts of the marina. Antibes is known for its yacht marina, the largest in Europe, with its International Quay, which is home to some of the biggest ’Megayachts’ in the World, its Provencal market, Picasso museum and medieval Ramparts. It has its own sheltered, sandy beach, and is within walking distance to several others. The Provencal fresh produce market runs every day in the summer and is not to be missed. In the evenings it turns into an outdoor restaurant scene, sharing the space with local artists’ stalls. Just behind the market is Antibes’s Cathedral, the setting for outdoor concerts in the summer months. The Old Town is full of lovely cobbled shopping streets, pavement cafes and countless restaurants to choose from. Thursdays is market day in the Old Town with thousands of stalls spread all over, selling anything from bikinis to carpets. On Saturdays, Place National is the setting for an Antiques market. Nearby Juan-les-Pins is a major holiday destination, with a casino and nightclubs.

Notes to the rental rates

  • A deposit of 25% is required at the time of booking, with the balance to be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival. Payment to be made by bank transfer in euros, note that this could incur a charge, to be met by sender. Towels and linens are provided, including beach towels. There is a final cleaning and laundry fee of 50 euros payable on departure.
    On arrival you will be met at the apartment, and given two sets of keys. The security and key deposit of 300 euros(or equivalent in pounds) will be collected in cash at this time, to be returned on departure less any breakages or losses.
    Please note that checking after 9pm. can not be facilitated.

If further Linen or Towels are needed (either at the beginning of, or during your stay) there will be a supplementary charge, but the washing machine in the apartment allows you to take care of your own washing and avoid any extra charges if you wish.

There are several ski fields within a short drive from Antibes, Auron and Isola 2000 being the most popular, and at only 90min drive away they are popular for a day trip.

Golf Information:

There are many fabulous golf courses in the area, all within a 30/40min drive of Antibes, including the Royal Mougins which is one of the best in France.

We chose the apartment from the internet description and it was everything that it stated and more. The handover and professionalism was 2nd to none.From the book of full instructions onthe workings of everything to the excellent quality of the unit was of top quality and consideration.
A credit to the owners. The location could not be better and although it could be noisy which was expected because of the location of all the activity of the market place, the closure of the double glazed french doors onto the balcony was like majic and the apartment became a serene place for the night.
