Newly refurbished, bright, airy and well appointed apartment, well situated, 5 minutes walk from the heart of the old town area of historic charming Antibes, 5 minutes walk from the marina and 5 minutes walk from the main line railway station. Located on the second floor (with lift) the main living room is south facing, bright and sunny whilst the bedroom is north facing, bright and cool. The property is perfectly situated and is only 5 minutes walk from the charms of the old town and the traditional Provencal fresh food market, boutiques, museums, cafes and bars and is a similar distance from the railway which runs from Marseille to Milan.

Antibes is set in the heart of the popular French Riviera between Nice and Cannes. Dating back over 2,500 years the town is rich in history and culture influenced by the Greeks and the Romans who settled here. A gentle stroll through the maze of narrow streets and alleys of the old town rewards the visitor with a cornucopia of aromas and tastes to delight the senses. With the wide range of shops, boutiques and the Provencal market all offering local produce and crafts, there is something to tempt everyone. As Antibes is so well situated it is easy to visit well known places such as Cannes, famous for the film festival, designer shops, the port and the old town as well as the popular city of Nice. Monte Carlo, Cap Ferrat, Mougins, St Paul de Vence and Italy are also within easy reach by using the excellent public transport which is both cheap and reliable. A splendid way to visit the charming town of St Tropez is to take a boat ride from Juan Les Pins or Cannes

  • Payment can be accepted in either €uros or GB pounds and is payable, by cheque, in advance :
    50% (non-refundable) at time of booking and 50% one month before rental date.
    You will be met by Caroline and provided with one set of keys.
    In addition a deposit of €200 is payable to Caroline on arrival as a security deposit to cover breakages, excess cleaning costs, replacement keys etc. This deposit will be returned on checking out less a charge of €60 for basic cleaning plus €21 per bed used for laundry. An additional charge may be made by Caroline if extra cleaning is required.

Golf: Within a 30 to 40 minute drive from Antibes there is an excellent selection of well maintained golf courses to be enjoyed by golfers of all abilities and include some of the best courses in France.

Skiing: The nearest ski resorts are Auron and Isola 2000 about one and a half hours from Nice. There are daily buses from Antibes and Nice.

Sightseeing: The main railway line runs from Marseille to Milan, all trains stop at Antibes (travel on TGVs may be restricted). Regular and reliable trains run to Cannes (15 minutes), Nice (15 minutes), Villefranche (30 minutes), Monaco (45 minutes), Menton (60 minutes) etc.
