The domaine offers 50 acres of flowery gardens, lots of air and walking space, large tree and bush bordered lanes leading to swimming pool and tennis courts. Two caretakers live in the domaine and the 24-hour security provided will make your stay more enjoyable and carefree. The apartment is on a high raised ground floor level accessible through large stairs or by lift, it offers nice green views from the large terrace (25 m2). Although inside the domaine life is quiet and peaceful it has easy access to luxury shops, department stores (10km to Cap 3000), nightlife and restaurants of Antibes (4km), Cannes (10km) or Nice and Nice airport (12km).

Other attractions: Other main attractions are the historical old harbour and village of Antibes with the Vauban fortifications and the yachts (4 km), Marineland, the perched villages of Biot 1,5 km, Cagnes, home of writers and artists Sartre de Beauvoir a.o. Valbonne, 15 km, Nice is only 14km away and Italy, Monaco, Cap d'Ail and Cap Martin are about 1 hours' drive by motorway (A8 within 5 minutes' drive and no traffic jams), all the scenic golf courses of Valbonne, St Donat, Biot (500 m), Mougins, Royal Cannes, St and many others are within easy reach. The tourist office which is in the neighbourhood will give you all free brochures about museums and places of interest. Don't forget the restaurants, and the delicatessen shops in neighbourhood a.o. Lafayette Gourmet and department stores at Cap 3000 (15 minutes drive to this large commercial centre). If you want a quiet walk within easy distance from the apartment there is a Marine with yacht harbour at Villeneuve Loubet with restaurants, shops, views

Tourism, place to visit:: The distance to the closest beach is about 1,5 km. Almost half the inhabitants of the domain of Vaugrenier have their permanent home here which makes it a place for off-season vacations as well. The Alpes du Sud Mountains are within 1,5 hours' drive, the best known resorts are Valberg, Isola , Gréolières. You can also find hills nearby in the Grasse area e.g. Saint-Vallier where lots of mountain itineraries start.

The summer traffic: Vaugrenier is a quiet area away from the heavy traffic and the busy roads. This is an ideal location as one cannot move out of Antibes, Nice or Cannes in the summer months because of the heavy traffic in the large towns. From Vaugrenier you can drive where you want. In order to go to Italy e.g. San Remo or to the Var (e.g. Ste Maxime or St Raphaël where the main golf courses and attactions of the Var are) you can reach the motorway through the back roads. Less than 10' for Nice and Italy, about the same or a couple of minutes more for Mougins, Mandelieu,Théoule, St.Raphaël etc.

Golf: Golf courses in the area: Golf de Biot, Golf Opio Valbonne, Golf de St. Donat, Golf de Cannes-Mougins, Golf de Cannes-Mandelieu, Golf practice and 9 holes of Villeneuve-Loubet, Royal Mougins etc. About 15 golf courses within 10 to 30 minutes by car. These golf courses can be reached easily by taking the départementales roads leaving via Biot in stead of having to cross the heavy traffic when you leave Antibes, Cannes or Nice. You can take the motorway which is about 10' drive from Vaugrenier Présidences if you like to go to St Raphaël (Valescure) or St Andréol which are in the VAR.

My friend and I spent two wonderful weeks in this quiet apartment surrounded by loveley gardens.The apartment is light and bright and tastefully decorated and we felt immediately at home while enjoying the large terrace and green views for sunning and summer dinners. We drove our daughter to the large pool an she had a great time meeting other kids.
I should mention the comfortable undergroud parking which I find indispensable in the heat.
The young and smiling caretakers and the lady who welcomed us have been very helpful and kind.
The location is the best for us as we want be away from the noise and the traffic and close to the main roads leading to Antibes, Nice, and from there we could as well take the back roads when the others were crowded to go for dinner to nice restaurants both in Nice and Cannes.

Excellent family holiday

In 2008, I and my family (wife, 2 daughters -10,14) we were looking for an opportunity to spend our summer leave in the south part of France - Cote d' Azur. We spent lots of hours on the Internet seeking for a property which may fit our expectations. Finally, we found this appartment and decided to spend 2 weeks over there. Honestly, that was one of the best summer leaves we have ever had. We appreciated the appartment is located in a secured area, planted with number of wonderful trees and bushes and having the swimming pool available all the time. This area is very close to the centre of the city as well as to either Nice or Antibes. During the day, we enjoyed the sea and in the evenings, there are various oportunities to continue in enjoying the area (restaurants, disco, amusement park etc.). The appartment is located on the top of a small hillock offering an impressive view on the entire complex and equiped in a luxury way. It was visible for the first sight the appartment is very well maintained and customer service offered by the owner is on the very high level. Additionally, I was delighted to have a garage available for our car.
To be completely honest with you, if you are looking for a place you wish to spend a perfect holiday, to choose this luxury equipped appartment is one of the best options you may take. The location is excellent, a rental fee is very friendly and realistic, and the most famous places in Cote d' Azur are "right behind the corner".
Personaly, I do recommend this appartment either for a family leave or I am fully convinced, various groups of people would find here their ideal holiday destination.

Lovely peaceful central location on Cote D'Azur

My husband and I stayed in this apartment for a few weeks whilest we were looking for long term accomodation in the local area. I enjoyed my time here, it is a short strole to a beautuful park..Vaugrenier, one of the best in the area. I even enjoyed a swim in the pool in April! The apartment was very well equiped, clean and modern. You do need a car though to get around from here.
I would recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to visit the area who does not want to be bothered with the hustle and bustle of the busier, noisey town centers in the summer. Nice quiet location. The lovely warm terrace was very relaxing in the afternoons especially for having the siesta.

2009 we are coming again!

We have now spend 5 subsequent holiday periods in this apartment. Since 2004 we have had a pleasent holiday in the beginning of June in this lovely place. The apartment is clean and quite new. People who take care of the rental agreements and apartment and the area are friendly. The ventilation equipment is nice beacuse yo can move it from bedroom to the living room. The terrace is always warm in the evening, so you can spend your evenings relaxing there. Near to the supermarket and airport and still quiet during the days and nights. Own carage. Near the Vaugrenier park and public beach.
We have spend 2 weeks in the beginning of June since 1988 in Cote D'azur. This apartment has been much more than we have expected in southern France.

Keine stimmungsvolle Umgebung

Kiesstrand ist am Rand eines Einkaufszentrums, Bahngleise ca. 50 m entfernt, von der Wohnung ca. 10 min mit Auto, keine Strandcafés.... Besserer Strand ist schon ca. 7 km entfernt. Wohnung sauber und sehr nett, gut ausgestattet, kein Meerblick, mitten in einer Reihenhaussiedlung in einem kleinen Naturpark auf den Hügeln (ca. 350 Wohneinheiten).Gemeinschaftspool von der Wohnung ca. 8 min Gehweg. Ins Zentrum nach Antibes sind es ca. 25 min mit dem Auto. Nächster Supermarkt ca. 5 min mit Auto.
In der Anlage steht man unter Beobachtung der "Hausmeister" und Nachbarn: Unser Sohn hat in der Früh für eine Stunde das Leintuch auf das Terrassengeländer gehängt. Beim Pool wurden wir dann von der Frau "Hausmeisterin" schon darauf aufmerksam gemacht, dass dies nicht erwünscht sei. Naja, wem's gefällt!
