In a well-to-do, small, 3-story building. Ground floor apartment. Spacious: 83m² = 886sq ft). Bright and airy. Large bay windows & terrace (34 m² = 370sq ft) on two sides with deep green view facing south and west. Private garden on three sides, accessed from terrace. Antique furniture. Living room, kitchen and one of the bedrooms have French windows that open out on to the terrace. Private garden gets sun all day, but has plenty of shade. Parking space on gated grounds.

In Cagnes sur Mer, near the Racing Course (Hippodrome). In a peaceful & prosperous, residential area, 1km from town center. Beaches: 10 mins on foot (about 700 meters) along wide, pleasant boulevard. Mainly coarse sand and shingle. Fine sand a few miles down the road. 5 mins walk to the railway station. No need to rent a car. Traditional shopping boulevard (round the corner), covered market (10 mins on foot), supermarkets and hypermarket (3 mins by car). Variety of restaurants (European and Asian, ordinary to gourmet), cafés, specialist shops - all nearby. Easy access to places along the coast by road or rail. 3 mins' drive to access point for main east-west motorway (highway). 20 mins by car or train to Nice; 10 mins to Antibes; 10 mins to Vence. A little more by bus. It is also quite easy to get around without a car. Many bus & train connections to places along the coast, even inland.
