This 1st floor apartment is located in the beautiful, well maintained, gated, secure, Le Lido residences,Cagnes sur Mer. The main bedroom has a king size bed with fitted wardrobe and the second bedroom has a double bed. The open plan living area has a modern fully integrated kitchen which includes table/chairs for 6 people, fridge, freezer, washing machine, oven, hob and fan, microwave, coffee maker etc. There is a large sofa bed in living area. The bathroom houses a bath and shower with heated towel rail. The toilet is housed separately.There are two terraces, the larger south west facing extends from the living area and has the sun in evening and the smaller extends from the two bedrooms with sun in morning. All local amenities, shops, market, bars, restaurants etc. all within 5 mins walk. Buses run every 15 mins. Nice airport 10 mins by bus, Antibes 20 mins, Cannes 45 mins , Nice old town 20 mins. A beautiful holiday apartment on the beautiful French Riviera.

  • • Beach Towels are provided. The apartment is fitted with electric security blinds.
    • Rental changeover is flexible, please ask. Rate includes utilities, wireless internet, final cleaning, bed linen and towels.
    • A 25% non refundable deposit will secure any booking, the balance is payable 8 weeks prior to arrival. If booking is less than 8 weeks away the full rental rate is required at the time of booking. An additional, refundable, security deposit of €300 is payable on arrival. This can be in the form of a cheque or cash.
    • Cleaning can be arranged during your stay payable locally. Airport transfers can also be organised
    • A discount is normally offered for 2nd and subsequent weeks. Pls. enquire for further discounts. Favourable rates are also available for longer term renters. Also check out our special offers.
  • • Checkout time is 10.30am and checkin time is 3pm, but we are flexible.
    • My representative in Cagnes will meet you on your arrival and will show you the apartment and assist you in any way possible.

Skiing Information: The nearest French Alps ski resorts, to Cagnes sur Mer, are Isola 2000 and Auron, on the edge of the Mercantour National Park, 90 kms approximately one hour north of Nice. At 2000 m, Isola has 120 km of pistes - a total of 43 (4 black, 11 red, 21 blue, 7 green). The 'Ecole de Ski Francais' runs beginners and advanced classes in several languages, including English. Lessons start at 40 Euros for individuals and 23 Euros for groups. Plenty of shops rent ski equipment. Snowboarding and snow-karting also available. There are lively restaurants and cafes on the edge of the pistes, and a panoramic view from the cable-car up to 2300m.

Golf Information: The French Riviera is the perfect destination for any golfer who likes to swing with the Mediterranean as a backdrop. Of the region's 21 golf courses - all designed by internationally renowned names - 19 are open all year round and located under half an hour away. There are 4 more golf courses in the mountains. Great Place - Lovely Apartment

We have just come back from a weeks holiday at this apartment and had a fab time. The apartment was lovely, beautifully clean and spacious for a family of 4 and very well equipped. The pool on site was also lovely and the kids (and us) spent many an hour cooling down in the pool!

The apartment was in a great location and we visited Nice, Antibes, Monte Carlo and St Juan Le Pins during the week all of which were lovely. We didn't use the buses as they were too hot but the train station is a 10 minute walk and the trains are cheap and air conditioned which made it a good bet for us!

There are nice restuarants within 5 minutes walk most of which face the beach and all of which did lovely food, our favourite was Via Veneto opposite the beach which did lovely pasta for us grown ups and great pizza for the kids!

We would definitely go to this apartment and area again and would highly recommend it. Our children are aged 12 and 9 and a week wasn't long enough as there is heaps to do and loads of places along the coast to visit and we definitely ran out of time!

last minute holiday August 2009

We had a really good holiday in the lovely apartment.It was well equipped and there was plenty of room for four.

Our trip was arranged very last minute and both Margaret and Frances, the rep in France, were very helpful and efficient.
The early access to the apartment and the late departure of 5pm was much appreciated and allowed us to make the most of our last day.
Bedding and towels were are of high quality very clean and plentiful.
Use of beach towels was much appreciated.
Proximity to the beach was good, which was essential as the pool was out of action during our stay. This was outside of the control of Margaret and Frances and I understand that action has been taken to remedy the issue since. The pool looked fantastic and large enough to cater for many families with plenty of sun beds.
Quiet at night, secure and with free parking.
Would recommend for sight seeing the local area, particularly Monaco, Antibes.

Thanks for your review. Yes there was an issue with the swimmingpool and although it was reopened a few days later, you had returned home. Apartment in Cagnes-sur-Mer

We stayed in this apartment for a week in late June, 2009. It was one of the nicest holiday apartments we have ever stayed in. It is a spacious fully-equipped and well-maintained property. There are two balconies one or other of which is sunny all day. The interior of the apartment block, surrounding lawns and swimming pools are all beautifully kept. The apartment complex is quiet at night and very secure. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. On our arrival we were welcomed by a very friendly care-taker who had brought a starter hamper of food and wine which we really appreciated. We would strongly recommend this apartment and we hope to return.

Excellent apartment, perfect location!

We have just returned from a girls getaway holiday and the apartment was fantastic. It lived up to all our expectations (and more). The apartment was very very clean and we were very grateful for the welcome pack which was very useful. The apartment is like a home from home, we enjoyed dinner and drinks on the balacony and also the DVDs came in handy for late night film. We were also very pleased to find Ipod speakers! There were plenty of bed linen and towels available - which was brilliant with four girls using towels! The pool was lovely and well received after a day of sight seeing. We also felt very secure in the apartment due to it being in a gated community, that a key was required to access the lobby of the apartment and that shutters were on the windows (which also helped to keep the sun out during the day). We were also pleased to find a safe in the apartment. It was also useful that you could control the air conditioning in each room. The location is brilliant, only 10 minutes in a taxi from Nice airport which cost about 20 Euros or you could get a bus for 1 Euro. We mainly used the trains to get around (and taxis due to a train strike on one day) which were very cheap, quick and air conditioned. The train station is about a 5/10 minute walk from the apartment. We explored Nice, Cannes and Monte Carlo and also spent time sunbathing. Cagnes-Sur-Mer is a lovely town with shops and restaurants. We enjoyed lunch at Beau Riveage in Nice which is on the beach and also enjoyed a lovely dinner at Via Veneto (pizza, pasta etc) in Cagnes-Sur-Mer, which is a five minute walk from the apartment. Monte Carlo is a must when visiting the area! There is also a small (but well stocked) supermarket opposite the road where the train station is.

Frances, the representative in France, was extremely helpful and provided us with her mobile number and was more than happy for us to contact her whilst we were out there if we had any questions. Margaret, many thanks for all your help arranging the apartment and for your prompt replies to my emails - much appreciated! We are also extremly grateful for being allowed to check-in into the apartment early on our arrival and late on our departure.

I would recommend this apartment to any of my friends/family and we are already planning our next trip back to South of France for next year and we will be staying (if possible) in this apartment again.

Mini Break was just too short

I cannot praise the owner or the apartment enough for providing a first class place to stay in terms of the accommodation, the complex and the location.

Upon arrival at the apartment, (which I have to say did meet the luxurious description); we were greeted by a stocked fridge and a welcome bottle of wine, which was extremely well received.

The apartment was faultless in the facilities provided, cleanliness and overall appearance; indeed I preferred the kitchen to my own and wanted to take it home!

We'd read that eating and drinking around the marina area was expensive, and yes it can be, although we found a very pleasant restaurant who's name eludes me (which isn't helpful, I know!). The beach is great as is simply walking along the promenade and taking in the ambience.

We'd recommend driving to St Maximme, and taking the €12 ferry across to St Tropez. I'd give Cannes a miss as it wasn't as expected, very busy with traffic!

Highly recommend a drive or better still scooters to Monaco along the coastal roads, brilliant!!

All in all, the apartment, the location was absolutely excellent; a return trip soon is highly likely!
