Cagnes-sur-Mer holiday apartment: Haut de Cagnes,

We are a professional couple who have just spent two and a half weeks in Le Comédien, from the end of February to the beginning of March. It's a fantastic place to get away from it all and relax. The views are breathtaking from both the front and the rear of the apartment - sea and mountains. We found the apartment spacious, comfortable, very clean and really charming. We were looked after very well by the agent, Willy-Maria.
It is a million miles from the bare "corporate" decor of some rental properties, with original paintings decorating the walls and lovely tiled floors. We were pleased with the facilities such as a full-sized cooker with oven, a washing machine and very good central heating, which was needed on the chilly early Spring evenings. For summer heat, there were several large fans. They had the good idea of having an insect screen on the bedroom window.
The village itself is beautiful and there are some very good restaurants within a few minutes walk from the apartment. And if the walk up the hill to the apartment from the town centre seems a little steep, there's a free navette every 15 mins which stops outside the door. There a number of steps up to the top floor, but when you see the view, it's worth the climb! An added bonus was the large fireplace/barbeque built into the terrace - ideal for cooking or cosy log burning. Wi-fi internet access was also helpful as we were both working on projects.
We had a wonderful time and hope to revisit before too long.
