Stylishly and newly furnished, this first floor studio (with lift) has the benefit of a large (22 sq.m), south-facing terrace (complete with furniture, see below), reversible air conditioning/heating, a separate modern kitchenette equipped with washing machine, microwave, 2 rings, fridge etc and direct access to the terrace. Modern bathroom with bath and shower over. Very well situated in a semi-pedestrianised and trendy road parallel to rue d'Antibes, there are smart decorator shops, cafes and bars on the doorstep, and it is just 1 minute walk from all the fashionable shops in rue d'Antibes, 2 mins walk from the beautiful Croisette and beaches, and exactly 4 mins walk from the Palais des Festivals. Garage and on-street parking available nearby. There is unlimited ADSL internet access, telephone, TV with video & DVD, separate stereo. There is a very comfortable sofa bed (both as sofa and double bed). An extra single bed is available, if booked in advance.

World renowned for the glamour of it's International Film Festival every May, Cannes is one of the chicest resorts on the Cote d'Azur, and a shopperholics paradise! With it's beautiful beaches, smart restaurants, trendy nightclubs and easy access by motorway or train to Monte Carlo or Nice, or boat to St Tropez (summer months) or the Lerin Islands, and close to the beautiful hillside towns of St Paul de Vence, Grasse and Mougins, Cannes is an ideal place to stay. The apartment has bars, cafes, restaurants and shops just a step away, with the daily market at Place Gambetta just 100 m stroll for delicious fresh, often local, produce. A mini-supermarket is just across the road, and the excellent food hall of Monoprix just 2 minutes walk. The old town, Le Suquet, has many more restaurants, and great views, just 1/2 kilometre away.

We (my wife and I) stayed here for the film festival for the second time this year (first time was 2007 - and we came back so that says a lot). Some day we're going to come back just for a holiday. When you're working it's perfectly positioned (literally 5 minutes from the Croisette), it has wi-fi broadband, air con and all the facilities you need. It's not huge but there's plenty of room - double the space, if not more - when you fold up the bed-settee and open the windows to the courtyard. Even out of festival time, this would be a perfect base for people who want to be out and about all day. Considering its position, it's surprisingly quiet at night. I just remembered one evening when we had cheese, bread and red wine on the terrace: who needs showbiz parties? I'm missing it already.

Everything about this appartment delightful, including the owner. High standard of fixtures, fittings and cleanliness, Fantastic location, everything you need right on the doorstep, yet amazingly quiet at night. The weather was very good although it is October. Highly recommended.

This really is a fantasically located appartment 5 minutes walk from all amenities: The Croisette/Beach, supermarkets,Bouangerie, the Market, The rue D'Antibes and lots of great bars and restaurants
The Old town is a pleasant 8 minutes stroll away.
the large terrace sets it apart from other properties, nothing better than a large terrace to enjoy breakfast, lunch and drinks
If flying into Nice the airport bus drops you within 5 minutes walk of the studio and is very reasonably priced
We will be back and recommending it to our friends

Fantastic appartment in ideal location

This apartment is perfect for a couple looking to stay in Cannes. It is a good size with excellent facilities. Every day we ate our breakfast and lunch out on the huge terrace. It is an ideal location surrounded by a wonderful collection of shops, boutiques and cafés/restaurants.

In the evenings it was very quiet and we got a good night sleep the entire length of our stay. The kitchen has all the applicances you could possibly need to prepare food and this helped keep the costs down as there are many supermarkets near by to stock up on the essentials. The Gambetta market is close by and is worth a daily visit. The owner was extremely helpful and was a pleasure to deal with. We were so sad to leave and will definitely be coming back next year.

The studio is ideally positioned for all the transport networks and only 5 minutes from the beach. Situated in a bustling street of shops, restaurants and bars all of which close early evening ensuring a peaceful nights sleep. The accomodation is compact but well furnished with all mod cons including air conditioning/heating with the most amazing terrace which is extremely large.During our short stay we managed a trip to St Tropez, an historic bus trip around Cannes and a visit to the Saturday market which was an amazing experience. I would thoroughly recommend this studio and we will be re-booking soon.
Owner's Response: In fact, the beach is only 3 minutes walk away. Everything else is true! The street is one of the smartest in Cannes, the bars and cafes are great for just hanging-out and people-watching.
