Charm and Locaiton in One

Prior to the visit the owners made me feel like I was there personal guest -- they sent me lots of information and spent as much time as I wanted on the phone answering my questions and giving me ideas. At one point they even offered to help me find another apartment when it appeared my mother-in-law was coming and we might need an extra bedroom. As it turned out, we stayed in this apartment and it radiates charm. A classic building facing the old port, it has one of the largest terraces in the old part of Cannes. Spending evenings on that terrace was like a gift. The wonderful view of the old clock tower and the sights and smells from the ancient cobblestone street below were other worldly. And the apartment is in the center of everything -- a 2 minute walk to the beach, shops, markets and cafes. We've rented apartments all over Europe and I must say, for location and value, this may well have been the best. It is recently remodeled, wonderfully clean and maintained, and extremely comfortable.
