This apartment is exclusively located, beside the HILTON NOGA HOTEL and THE GRAND HOTEL with its film star guests.Just a few metres to the many resturants, 300metres to the beach and 80 metres to the designer shops of the fashionable RUE D'ANTIBES. Ideally located to enjoy the best of CANNES. The apartment has air-conditioning, a lift, south facing terrace, and is in a block of ten apartments. The apartment is newly furnished to a high standard, is well maintained, bright and airy and very secure.

Cannes in the Cote d'Azure. The town of Cannes offers wonderful entertainment all year round. There are a variety of festivals, throughout the year in the famous PALAIS de FESTIVALS. To cater for the cosmopolitan tourist there is an infinite number of restaurants of various cuisine, wonderful shops, the immediacy of the sea and excellent beach facilities. One can walk for kilometers by the sea. For a few euro one can take the train (v. frequent) to nearby Antibes or Nice. Italy is close enough for a day trip. Cannes is big enough to provide a variety of entertainment yet convenient enough to escape to the nearby mountains or nearby seashore towns.

Notes: The kitchen was replaced 3 years ago. there is a new washer/ dryer and a new dishwasher a new oven. there is an american fridge with a four shelf freezer section,a stereo a coffee maker etc etc. The apartment was completely refurnished in February 2005.a The balcony is furnished with a dining table and 4 chairs and one high marble drinks table. There are also 2 beach chairs. SKY T.V.has been installed, making available the common B B C channels and 200 channels. But not sky sports.There is also WI -Fi TV There is a DVD RECORDER in the apartment.there are many many tv stations. the apartment has wireless broadband , airconditioning , heating and a lift. The apartment is very convenient to all amenities and is very secure in the most sought -after area in cannes. It is possible to take a bus to nearby ski resorts. One can take a return trip to ISOLA2000 on a daily basis. The price is 24 euro and this includes the ski pass. (good value). There are train and bus services .

This is located in literally the centre of cannes, equidistant from the Grand Hotel (which in turn faces the beach) and the main shopping street called Rue d'Antibes. It still maintains a private feel, however, with good perception of space as it's balcony opens out onto a quiet parking area at the back of the grand hotel (see photo included).

Great location and lovely apartment

I have just returned from a lovely holiday in Cannes. The apartment was only 200m from the beach and right beside the shops and restaurants. We really enjoyed ourselves. The balcony was lovely for meals in the evening and, though there's no sea view, it overlooks the Grand Hotel so it's nice and quiet.

The apartment was well equipped and has 3 bedrooms and 2 toilets. A good find, we'll be back!

Excellent location, well-equipped apartment

The apartment was excellent, clean, well-maintained and well-equipped.

Above all, the location was absolutely superb - there wasn't a sea view, but it was a short walk along the passage next the Grand Hotel to the sea front and a short walk in the other direction to the Rue d'Antibes which contained a fantastic array of designer shops. The apartment was in the centre of everything and Cannes is most definitely the most beautiful place on the Riviera, followed closely by Menton. Bus services are excellent 1 euro to all places along the coast (No 200), Antibes, Nice etc and also (No. 600) to Grasse - another lovely place. Transport isn't needed there is plenty to do without a car and plenty of places to see. The 200 bus goes from Nice Airport to Hotel de Ville in centre of Cannes 1 euro!! There is a Carte Isabella daily train ticket which is unlimited train travel as far as Ventimiglia, across the Italian border for a mere 12 euro. Allowing visits to Antibes, Nice, Cagnes sur Mer, Menton, Monacco/Monte Carlo etc. Well worth it!

There is a good supermarket (Casino) near by (although the food in Cannes is more expensive than in the UK) There is an abundance of restaurants, cafes, interesting shopping areas, markets, the Castle Museum, plenty of boats and visiting cruise ships. Swimming in the sea is wonderful and there is a public beach closeby.

The three en-suite bath/shower rooms to the three double bedrooms were brilliant. (Although one of the bedrooms was partitioned off the living room). The beds were all very comfortable. Wireless broadband and sky TV (free channels only) was very useful if you want to chill indoors. Balcony had full sun from about 11.00 am to 5.00 pm daily (Sept). Our only complaint is there were no pan lids or microwaveable dishes! but this can soon be remedied by the owner. All other kitchen equipment was excellent and in good working order.

This was our first holiday out of the UK, abroad, flying or to France and we will never forget it. It was a truly memorable experience, even though it did rain the first couple of days. The rest of our 2 week holiday was glorious sunshine and perfect temperatures (25 to 30 deg - late Sept), with a perfect location.

Great base for experiencing the delights of Cannes

Lovely apartment, tastefully decorated, air conditioned, well equipped and ideally situated within minutes by foot of the Croisette, shops, restaurants, markets and train station. We had a great week and found this apartment a very convenient and comfortable base. The location is superb.
