Cannes in the Cote d'Azure. The town of Cannes offers wonderful entertainment all year round. There are a variety of festivals, throughout the year in the famous PALAIS de FESTIVALS. To cater for the cosmopolitan tourist there is an infinite number of restaurants of various cuisine, wonderful shops, the immediacy of the sea and excellent beach facilities. One can walk for kilometers by the sea. For a few euro one can take the train (v. frequent) to nearby Antibes or Nice. Italy is close enough for a day trip. Cannes is big enough to provide a variety of entertainment yet convenient enough to escape to the nearby mountains or nearby seashore towns.

We have had very good positive response from our guests who have rented the apartment. .the clients seem particularily impressed with its convenient location, within minutes of the beach , the festival hall ,the hotel martinez and the resturants. the area is up - market ,busy but not noisy.and by day one can assess the many beautiful shops on rue d'antibes withinn a few minutes walk. the apartment itself is roomy by french stardards. there have been several comments on the well equipped kitchen the very good mattresses, the three bathrooms etc etc. . we have had our quota of repeat business which speaks for itself.

There is an excellent kitchen, a living room with double doors leading up to the south facing balcony. All the furniture is of a very high quality and purchased in 2005.

The kitchen was replaced 3 years ago. there is a new washer/ dryer and a new dishwasher . there is an american fridge ,a stereo a coffee maker etc etc. The apartment was completely refurnished in February 2005. The balcony is furnished with a dining table and 4 chairs and one high marble drinks table. There are also 2 beach chairs. digital TV has been installed, making available the common B B C channels and 200 channels. But not sky sports. There is a DVD RECORDER in the apartment.there are many many tv stations. the apartment has wireless broadband , airconditioning , heating and a lift. The apartment is very convenient to all amenities and is very secure in the most sought -after areain cannes. It is possible to take a bus to nearby ski resorts. One can take a return trip to ISOLA2000 on a daily basis. The price is 24 euro and this includes the ski pass. (good value). There are train and bus services to NICE nearby ANTIBES etc.
