A perfect retreat for a sophisticated break in Cannes, a spacious apartment decorated in contemporary style with a south facing balcony. It is located minutes from the chic shopping area of Rue d'Antibes, restaurants, bars, cinemas, the port and the beaches. The Croisette and the Palais de Festival are around 7 minutes walk. The apartment overlooks the market square of Place Gambetta, with the boulangerie next door, so that croissants, fruits, flowers and wonderful cheeses and more are right on the doorstep. There is a secure garage with private access from street level. The apartment building has an elevator to the apartment from both street level and and the garage parking, giving convenient wheelchair access, and all rooms within the apartment are accessible by wheelchair.

Cannes is the 'star' of the French Riviera, famous for the International Film Festival and the glitzy hotels, cars, beaches and visitors attracted here. The city of Cannes is centered around the old port, with the central part quite compact. The famous 'Croisette' is the boulevard and the beach that extends around the bay to the east of the port, in the protected 'Rade de Cannes'. Out around the point at the west side of the port, the Boulevard Jean Hibert runs along the coast to the west, with even more fine sandy beaches. The Rue d'Antibes is the main street running east-west through the center of the city, becoming the Rue Félix Faure at the bottom end, past the Allée de la Liberté and the port. The Boulevard Carnot runs north out of the city, through residential-shopping areas, to the A8 autoroute, and inland towards Grasse.

Booking note: 30% non-refundable deposit to be received within one week of booking with the balance to be paid 6 weeks prior to start of rental. Prices are quoted in UK £, but payable in euros. A cash deposit of £250 or 350 euros will be required on arrival, this will be returned at the end of the stay on leaving the apartment in a satisfactory condition.
