Beautifully appointed air-conditioned studio apartment in residential zone behind the Croisette – 4 minutes walk from the beaches. In a high quality residence comprises 1 bedroom REAL BED sleeping 2 in a large comfortable double bed. Rue d’Antibes (main shopping zone) 7 minutes walk. Smaller shops close by. The train station is 1.2 Km and the Palais des Festivals congress center is just a 2 Km walk along the fabulous Croisette. Wall TV, DVD, WIFI - FREE INTERNET ACCESS, heating and air-conditioning, towels and linen included in price. Street parking free or residence underground parking possible at keen rates. Caretaker in residence. Notes: Double bed 2 adults max. - accommodation NOT suitable for children or parents with baby. It is on ground floor separated from street level by a small planted garden - no external balcony. Short stays available (from 4 nights) outside peak season.

Regional Transport: We are often asked if a car is required for regional touring. If you are already coming by car, Cannes is an excellent base for touring the region from the Var to Italy. But for shorter says - up to several weeks - a car is not required. Regional transport services - bus, train, and coastal ferries, are excellent and not expensive. You can travel by train from Cannes to Grasse, Antibes, Nice, Villefranche, Monaco, or Vingtemille* (Italy) for day visits or shopping, or (westwards) to Frejus. St.Raphael from where you can take a bus (or boat) to St.Tropez. A ferry trip to the beautiful Iles des Lerins just off the coast of Cannes is a welcome opportunity to swap the bustle of the Riviera for the tranquil peace of unspoiled forest and rocky bathing pools. Also the peninsula costal walks of the 'Caps' ... Cap d'Antibes, Cap Ferrat (see the beautiful gardens of the Villa de Rotschild here) etc.. are some of our favourite day excursions.

My partner and I recently stayed stayed in this studio close to the famous Croisette in Cannes. The studio was exactly as described on this site, by the proprietor, who was very welcoming and helpful during our seven-day stay. The studio is very well equipped, clean and in a modern appartment block located in a quiet and friendly residential area behind the Martinez Hotel and, literally, five minutes from the centre of the Croisette and its beaches. A short walk also takes you to the rue d'antibes, leading to Cannes main shopping and leisure facilities; and le Palais de Festival. This studio provides comfortable and easy living and an excellent and relaxing base for a short break or longer holiday and we would unreservedly recommend it to others who may be considering a stay in Cannes for business or pleasure.

The Perfect Apartment on the Cote d'Azur

We have just completed a two-week stay at Apartment Lacour and thoroughly enjoyed it. This apartment met all of our needs and was exactly as described on the website. Having wireless internet access, satellite TV, and a DVD player (with a selection of DVDs) made the apartment feel more like a luxury hotel rather than a holiday apartment. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking your own simple meals and even though the apartment was small its excellent design provided more than enough space to store our luggage and personal effects for our stay. The apartment was exceedingly clean and well-maintained. The neighbourhood had some small shops, restaurants, a boulangerie, a pharmacy and a large supermarket all within walking distance, and the bus to Nice/Antibes stopped practically right outside the door. It is a short walk to both Rue d'Antibes and La Croisette. The owner was very friendly and helpful and even checked in with us partway through our stay to make sure we had everything we needed and to see if we needed any advice on things to do in the area. This was our 3rd visit to Cannes and we feel you will not find a better value apartment. We will definitely stay here again on our return to Cannes.
