Spacious, light apartment with garden and communal pool in new gated residence in Golfe Juan. This apartment is ideally situated in a quiet location but is close to the town centre and only 350m from the port which has two marinas and two sandy beaches. It includes a separate kitchen which is well equipped and has a small patio area and two double bedrooms, both with doors opening out onto small outside areas. The living room is airy with cool grey white stone tiling (the same throughout the apartment) and opens out onto a patio and nice sized SW facing garden. The apartment is air conditioned/centrally heated and equipped with Satelite TV and DVD for your comfort. There is a shower room, a separate large bathroom and a separate WC. An underground garage is also provided with Lift access to outside the apartment making it suitable for the disabled as well as all others.

Golfe-Juan sits sheltered between Cannes and Juan Les Pins. It is a charming town with all the facilities you would expect from speciality shops to supermarkets etc. Leading down from the town there is the impressive Port Camille lined with good restaurants, and a pleasure to stroll by. Between the port there are two sandy beaches lined with palm trees. The beaches are clean and sheltered and ideal for bathing. As well as renowned restaurants to choose from you can get good and reasonably priced snacks from cafes near the beaches. Golfe Juan is an ideal base for exploring the region. Cannes, Juan Les Pins and Antibes (Antibes with good entertainment for children – Marineland and Antibeland) not far by car. A car is not necessarily needed for travelling as the Cote D Azur area has an excellent train and bus service both of which are efficient and very good value. The mountains are only a 50 minute drive away perfect for skiing in the winter and walking in summer.

There are tennis courts opposite the residence - believe they are public but you would have to make enquiries. There are three golf courses nearby all within a 15 minute drive 1) Biot - which has a golf driving range with bunkers and putting range close to Biot. Lessons are available Tel: 04 93 65 05 65 2) Sophia Golf Club. 04 92 96 6886. Has a full course. Practice facilities - driving range, puttings greens. 3) Cannes-Mougins Golf and Country Club. There are more golf courses further afield.

Golfe Juan is part of the town of Vallauris which is a mile or so inland from Golfe Juan. There is the Picasso Museum in Vallauris which shows some of the artist's pottery pieces from the period when he lived in Vallauris. The are plenty of art museums around the Cote d Azur celebrating many different types of art. There are ferry trips to various places including St Tropez, the Ise of Lerins and other destinations from Golfe Juan.

The apartment has everything required for a comfortable holiday. Both the apartment itself and the complex are very secure and well maintained. There is a pleasant pool area. The details say that the apartment is 350m from beach but it seemed a lot further. We had a car but I wouldn't have liked to have to walk to beach and back each day! Golfe Juan itself was quiet but a bit livelier at weekends. Some nice restaurants notably Via Cassia in the port area. We varied evenings by eating in Cannes And Antibes .Had older kids with us and Golfe Juan in evenings hasnt much for them. Great for beach by day though.We really enjoyed it and would return.
