In a quiet street just 300 meters from the lively center of the small town of Le Golfe Juan (between Juan-les-Pins and Antibes at 2km, and Cannes at 3km) the studio is on the 3rd floor of a large modern building with lift and caretaker. The train station is less than 10min walk, at the back and east of the rather long and wide building itself (can't be seen nor heard). The beach can be reached in 5mns via a small tunnel at the west-end of the building, which passes under the train-line and the road. The balcony (7sq m) is facing an open public parking and the green hills of Vallauris (where Picasso used to have a ceramics atelier) to the north west, thus protected from the heat of the sun at the height of the day. The kitchen is fully equipped, the bathroom comfortable and there is a separate toilet (total of 27sq m, plus balcony). The lounge contains a retractable double bed which folds up into the wall to liberate the room if wished, a table and four chairs, and a sofa bed.

The studio is just 5min to the beach, yet close to the town center and the train station. The busier centers of Cannes and Antibes are only minutes away by train, bus or car. Nice is only 30 min away and Italy 1h30 min by train. Nice international airport is also close, so you do not necessarily need a car, but if you have, the southern alps (Parc National du Mercantour) are just 1h30 minutes drive, there are lots of wilder beautiful beaches in the Var just one hour away, and plenty of typical very old villages of Provence in the nearby countryside. All possible leisure activities are within easy reach, Le Golfe Juan has even got its own small harbor. The area surrounding the studio is a very quiet residential area, but the close-by center has all the amenities and is more lively, especially during the summer. Nearby Cannes offers all the attractions of a large sea-side resort (large hotels, casinos, clubs, cinemas, shopping centers...).

Additional information about rental rates

  • Payment :
    Payment is expected by bank transfer, in euros (or by cheque, if they can be labelled in euros), or cash for late bookings.
    Booking Conditions:
    A deposit of 25% of the rental is required at the time of booking to secure the property for the requested period. The balance of the Rental Price is then payable to us no later than 8 weeks before arrival. (or as soon as possible for late bookings).
    We also require a security deposit of 300 euros to be paid at the same time as the final payment.
    Failure to make these payments will give us the right to cancel the rental. You will not be paid interest on the initial Deposit nor on the Security Deposit.
    The Security Deposit will be repaid (either in full or after deductions) by bank transfer within 28 working days following last day of rental.
  • Deductions from the Security Deposit will occur :
    A/ in the unlikely event of any electricity, gas or water consumption in excess of the normal rate.
    B/ if end-cleaning is necessary, in addition to the standard last day cleaning (which is at the owner's charge).
    C/ for any damage occurring during the rental or non-respect of rental rules.
    The Property may be used only as a holiday accommodation and for a maximum of 4 persons , including children. Under no circumstances is the Property to be occupied by more than 4 people at any time. You agree to indemnify us against any damage or loss at the Property caused by you or your party occurring during the rental. Where for any reason the Security Deposit is insufficient to pay the costs referred to above, you will be liable to make up the shortfall forthwith on demand.
  • Any damages or loss to the Property or its contents should be notified to the owner as soon as possible, but in any event before your departure from the Property.
    If the Property becomes unfit for occupation between now and your vacation week for some unforeseen and exceptional reason such as natural disaster, fire, accident etc. we will refund to you all payments made to us. This will be the limit of our liability in this respect.

    Cancellation : If the renter wishes to cancel the booking it must be done by email or recorded mail, and the following charges will apply :
    A/ more than 8 weeks – 25% (booking deposit).
    B/ 5-8 weeks – 50% of rate refunded.
    C/ 3-5 weeks – 25% of rate refunded.
    D/ Less than 3 weeks – no refund (except for the Security Deposit).

Personal insurance cover.: You must ensure that you and your party are covered by comprehensive insurance for the duration of your stay against holiday risks including (but not limited to) illness, accident, damage, loss or theft of personal property and personal liability.

The accommodation is available from either 14h00 or 18:00 (up to you to chose one of the two possible arrival times) on the first day of the booking up to 09h00 (9am) on the day of departure. Minimal rental is one night up to 15th of June, then one week, normal period is from Saturday to Saturday (although other start/end days may be negotiated at reservation time, just ask us). The time between 09h00 and 14h00 (or 18:00) is required to properly clean the apartment and any change to these times can only be made by prior arrangement with the owner’s agent or owner. The electricity, gas and water meters will be read on arrival and on departure with the owner’s agent or owner. Any necessary additional end-cleaning will have to be deducted from the security deposit.

Great studio flat with excellent location

The flat was perfect for what we required. Its less than a 5 minute walk from the beach and the train station. There is a nice balcony that gets the sun late afternoon - early evening. The flat was clean and tidy and the owner is great, even picked us up form the airport when we arrived! Golfe Juan has plenty of restaurants to pick from and Antibes, Cannes are a short train/bus ride away if you would like more choice. I think the flat was great value for money and would definitly recommend it.
Owner's Response: We are happy to offer value for money and always ready to help our hosts if we can ! The flat is conveniantly placed and indeed agreable to live in... Ideal to enjoy the French Riviera at a reasonable cost.

Ideal location for exploring the area

The studio is in an ideal location being close to the train station, the trains service is second to none and reasonably priced, the bus service is also excellent, costing only 1 euro no matter where you want to go.The studio itself is extremely comfortable with everything you could need (except a toaster). Dominique is very friendly and even picked us up from the airport (which as our flight was delayed in Manchester for 3 hours ) was fantastic. Thank you Dominique it was a pleasure to meet you. xx

Der Besitzer war sehr freundlich und alles klappte reibungslos (Übergabe und Rückgabe von Schlüssel und Kaution). Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und hell und mit allem Nötigen ausgestattet. Die Straße ist etwas lebhafter, aber nicht störend laut. We enjoyed our holiday in the accomodation a lot and the price was very reasonable. Thanks to the owner.

Fantastic apartment in a beautiful area!

We had a great stay in this charming apartment. The owners are very friendly and the apartment is cosy and clean. Very close to the beach and only a five minute train ride to Cannes! If you think about staying in the south of France don't hesitate to go to Golfe Juan and rent this place. I can recommend this apartment to everyone. Extremely nice for a very very good price.
