The villa sits in the mountains of the Tanneron Massif, 10 miles NW of Cannes. At over 400m above sea level it enjoys panoramic views, from terraces and pool, of the Cote d'Azur, the Isles de Lérin and hill villages including Mougins and Chateauneuf de Grasse. On clear days the vista extends from the Alps of northern Italy in the east right round to the mountains of the Haut Var in the west.
By car it is only 10 minutes from the villa to the A8 motorway, 20 minutes to the beaches of the Bay of Napoule and Théoule, 40 minutes to Nice Airport, and less than one hour to the Italian border in the east and St Tropez in the west.
Also close are the 'perched villages' of the Alpes Maritimes and the Var, with many vineyards in the surrounding unspoilt countryside. Throughout the year there are markets, festivals and exhibitions and nearby there are facilities for tennis, golf (5 courses), sailing, water-skiing, sub-aqua and even hang-gliding!
