Beautiful, spacious 150 m2 square (1,670 square foot) apartment on the third floor of an 1830s building in the port of Nice. The apartment has a stunning panoramic view of the port and out to sea from the front and backs onto the ancient Château hill, which is beautifully lit at night. It's 5 minutes walk to the beach and the lively Old Town with its daily markets. The apartment has a 30 m2 open plan living and dining area with a balcony overlooking the port, a large master bedroom overlooking the port with an en-suite bathroom, a separate fully equipped kitchen with a balcony and Château views, a second bathroom, a washroom and two further double bedrooms. The apartment is fitted with secure wireless internet access and Sky satellite TV and is newly decorated and beautifully furnished.

Car: not necessary
The apartment is situated right on the port and five minutes walk to the beach. There are many restaurants in all prices ranges and several supermarkets and bakeries and also a bank, post office and car/scooter/bike rental shop within a few minues walk. The nearest tram stop is five minutes walk and the old Town with its daily markets is just a short stroll along the promenade. In summer, you can take a boat trip to the Lerins islands, St. Tropez, la Corniche d'Or and Monaco. It leaves from opposite the apartment. There is also a coach from the port every 15 minutes to Monaco, Beaulieu and Menton. Nice is wonderful in the summer, but the mild climate makes Nice a great destination for a winter or Christmas break too. I live locally and am happy to help with restaurant recommendations and to advise you about what's on while you are in Nice. Notes: The apartment is fitted with a TV and Sky satellite, a Bose surround sound CD/DVD Lifestyle system and a selection of DVDs/CDs. The apartment on the third floor and has a lift. There are two balconies: one overlooking the port and one on the kitchen at the back of the apartment - this overlooks the Chateau, which is beautifully lit at night. Smoking permitted on either of the balconies. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there is also a hair dryer, iron and ironing board. The apartment is very large and accommodates six people very comfortably. End of stay cleaning is included in the price, but if you don't want to clean on vacation, I can arrange to have the apartment cleaned during your stay.

Lovely apartment and absolutely huge, which allowed us all plenty of privacy. The port area is wonderful with all the shops you need close by and lots of different restaurants to try. The apartment is spotless and looks even nicer than the photos and the view is spectacular!

The owner was extremely helpful - our flight was very delayed and she came to met us there about 1.30am and had stocked the fridge with breakfast things for the morning. We highly recommend this apartment and look forward to staying there again.

Winter in Nice

My husband and I rented this apartment long term over the winter and loved every minute of our stay. The apartment is beautiful and the views are breathtaking and constantly changing. It was a delight to watch the yachts coming in and out of the port and in February the carnival floats gathered right under our balcony before setting off down the promenade. The apartment is extremely spacious and easily accommodated all of our eager visitors. I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment and have told the owner that I will happily act as a reference.

Home away touching perfection

for people who come to the Côte d'Azur in search of the "ordre et beauté, luxe, calme et volupté" of Baudelaire and of all those artists that left their impressions here in this neighbourhood, and that find a perfect match in the limpidity, airiness and subtility of the apartment of Linda that, of course, is only an expression of her own exquisite taste (that moreover she most kindly is willing to share with perfect strangers as her guests). I won't say more because in fact I would rather keep this treasure for myself ...

There was six of us staying in the apartment and the moment we came in we felt like at home; the apartment was spacious, clean, trendy, the view was great and everything was as we wished. We recommend this apartment for everyone looking to stay in Nice.

i would strongly suggest that anyone looking to stay in Nice books this apartment. the property is immaculate. it's location could not be better. the owner is extremely helpful and kind. the apartment has generous spaces. i was with three generations of my family and it suited all of us. Nice itself offered much more than i anticipated, again lots for everyone. there are so many lovely restaurants nearby, you would need to stay a very long time to try a different one each night! the views from the apartment are incredible. watching the light change on the water and hills was magical. i can't recommend it highly enough and i can't wait to return!
