An elegantly spacious air-conditioned apartment an easy walk to the old town, beaches, parks and art galleries; we are an ideal base from which to explore the Cote d'Azur and only a 60 minute drive from winter ski slopes. Bedrooms are equipped with cable TV, DVD or video player. Internet access is also available. Whether you want peace and quiet or adventure you can use our local knowledge to help you plan a tour, arrange a days sailing or just find a bus timetable. We want you to have a great holiday.

Our apartment is located in the very picturesque harbour of Nice an easy walk from the lively Old Town, the Promenade des Anglais, the Museum of Modern Art, the Chateau and the parks and beaches. You will find yourself spoilt for choice when looking for restaurants or cafes in the streets around us. Our local bakeries, green grocers, wine shops, delicatessens and butchers, are friendly and happy to help and advise you about the best combinations of food and drink. You can easily explore further afield, even without a car as buses and taxis stop at the port, and the main coach and train stations are just a short walk from us.

You can get to Cannes and Monaco in 30 to 45 minutes by train and have lunch in Italy in an hour or overlooking the ski slopes in the mountains just 30mins drive away. Ferries leave the port several times a day for Corsica, Sardinia, St Tropez or the 'Iles de Lerins' (two islands just off Cannes) and fares are reasonable.

The flat was brilliant for us

Well located and beautifully spacious and airy. Yes, I did get to relax! We traveled to Italy and spent more time in Menton this trip. Thank you also for your recommendations the Patesserie was brilliant (a life saver) and the italian restaurant a wonderful surprise, the food was truely amazing.

All the best and good luck for 2009. I will definitely be intouch when we visit again.

Owner's Response: Most of our guests leave our apartment as lovely as they find it. This reviewer left it so 'spick and span' with tidy cupboards and defrosted freezer, that I asked her if she had had time to relax!

Charming apartment

We spent 11 nights in this very comfortable and well equiped apartment. There are a lot of good restaurants and shops nearby. Only one problem: the beach is far, after the port area.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children
Owner's Response: On consideration this review is right re popular bathing beaches on Promenade De Anglais, they are 20-30 mins walk away. There are closer bathing areas at end of port but they are deep water.

Lovely apartment

We loved the apartment! We were on a 'girls getaway', and all 8 of us were very impressed with how spacious, charming, well maintained and well located the apartment was. It has a great view of the port, and is a 10min walk from the Promenades des Anglais, which is where we spent alot of our time- at the beach, or shopping, or at the many restaurants and bars (it was great not to need any taxis!). The patisserie was indeed a life saver. Helen and Mira were so helpful and accommodating, and we really did have a fantastic stay in Nice. I would highly recommend this apartment.

Cool Appartment

Well equipped town apartment situated in the port of Nice with a street view and port in background.
The apartment itself is very spacious and can sleep 8 easy, found previous residents had left cooking oils, spices and all those things you don't want to buy when away. Parking can be a bit of effort however you will find a spot in one of the nearby streets, don't park in the marina as its 20Euros per night.

Train station Nice Riqu'er is only 12 mins by foot where as Nice central is 40 mins with a slight hill on the way.
Some good restaurants nearby in the port area and walking distance to town centre.

Will defiantly stay again.

Our holiday in this propriety

The propriety is really an interesting place where to spend the time in Cote d'Azur. Lovely the view to port and the location near the old city. It was appreciated also the location near the Promenade des Anglais. Very well furnished and with big common space. We were happy to live our experience there.
