Ideally situated in the heart of Nice’s chic “Musiciens quartier”, with corner aspects to the South and East, this sunny self-contained apartment is located in a listed Art Deco building on the 1st floor (with lift). The high-ceilinged rooms are light and airy, simply yet tastefully furnished and well maintained. Step outside and sample the local delights on your doorstep - patisseries, cafés, greengrocers, supermarket, etc. A short walk and you're on the main shopping strip, Jean Medecin, or at the SNCF train station. Take a 10 minute stroll to the famous 'Promenade des Anglais' and its beaches, or the trendy and quaint Old Town, famous for its “Cours Saleya” flower, fruit and vegetable market. The apartment is close to the recently completed tram system – handy for exploring Nice, it also connects you with Gare Routiere (bus station). Further afield, you will be ideally placed for Monaco’s Grand Prix, Cannes Film Festival and St Tropez. In winter, skiing is only 1 hour away.

Welcome to 'Palais Clemenceau' in the heart of the fashionable 'Quartier Musiciens' on Avenue Georges Clemenceau. Close to all main shops and train station, a 10 mins stroll will take you down to the beach and along the famous Promenade de Anglais, or to the old town or the pedestrian shopping areas. Of course, you can now use the new, efficient tram service. The apartment is close to many of the museums, the Acropolis Convention centre and the Palais des Expositions. You will feel in the hub of it all in this very central apartment. Nice is within easy reach of all resorts on the Cote d'Azur (Monaco, Cannes, Menton, St Tropez, St Paul de Vence, Antibes etc.) using the well serviced and very reasonable public transport system.

Location - Quartier des Musiciens: The location is central to everything Nice! Whichever way you turn outside the building you are only seconds or minutes away from most amenities: patisseries, busy cafés, a mouth-watering greengrocers and a small supermarket. Avenue Jean Medecin - the main shopping strip of Nice and the Train Station with links to Cannes, Monaco, Menton & St Tropez are within a short walk (5 minutes). 10 minutes and your in the heart of the Zone Pietonne area to watch street entertainment. At the end of the Pietonne area is the Place Massena with the famous Galleries Laffayette and the old town, where a visit the Cours Saleya with its famous flower market and many restaurants is a must - so too is a stroll along promenade. A key point is that the SNCF train station is 5 minutes away, far enough to not hear the trains but perfect after a days travelling to jump off the train and get home! Come & discover the South of France!

Events in or around Nice : The Nice Tourist Board works really hard to ensure there is something going on every month: January - visit the Luna Park. February - experience the celebrated Nice Carnival. April - enjoy the Easter celebrations. May is Monaco Grand Prix and Cannes Film Festival month - come and mix with the JetSet! June - annual music festival. July - the excellent Jazz festival as well as Bastille Day fireworks and fetes every weekend. Aug - lots of musical nights with a range of firework displays and events along the coast. September -International Festival of Military Music. October - Blues Festival and Halloween. November - contemporary music show. December - enjoy the enchanting Christmas markets and grottos. So come on! There's always something to entertain you.

A base in the heart of Nice where everything can be easily reached - car parks are on hand and transport links are minutes away - the apartment is located on one of the few roads that are free to park on in Nice! But you really don't need a car here. We would like you to enjoy your stay, coming back to sample the delights that we, Nice, Provence and the Cote d'Azur have to offer again and again. As a result we work hard to ensure the personal touch creates happy holiday memories.

The flat was cozy and we felt very 'French'. Well located for the station and the beach. Great to be able to cook the stuff we bought in the markets and local shops

Not for you if you have trouble sleeping with traffic noise as it is on the first floor and of a busy street with buses all night.

A Real Taste Of France

We absolutely adored this apartment. It is bright, clean and very well equipped - Ideal for a family holiday. All the little extras like beach towels, body boards, DVDs, CDs, books, etc., were very much appreciated by our teenage children; whilst the copious amount of information on places and things to see and do in the area was great for us adults.

The location in a typically french apartment building, allowed us to enjoy a taste of day-to-day french living - Much better than the usual, purpose built tourist accommodation.

The customer service - from the initial enquiry, right through to checkout - was extremely efficient. The owners have definitely created a 'home from home'.

The apartment is ideally situated - less than 5 minutes walk from the train/bus station, from where you can travel to well known resorts; and only a short walk to the promenade and the 'old town'. Now that we have experienced Summer in Nice, we can't wait to return to this apartment for a Winter break, for further sight seeing and skiing.

Without doubt, we will recommend this apartment to ALL of our friends. A real find!

We'd like it. The apartment is great. It's in an old building and we felt like in a film.
There was a very good customer service, all we need and more was there.
10 min by foot to the centre of nice.
It isn't quiet, because it's in a livelily corner, there is a cafe, a pharmacie, a greencrocer and all the people on the street. But that doesn't matter if you like life in a town.
We wíll recommend it to our friends und we will come back.

Nice is nice and so is this apartment. Its ideally situated - close to the main shopping area and yet within walking distance of the promenade and beach and the popular night spots. Its close too to two stops on the new lightrail/tram systems that connects you with the Gare Routiere ( bus station) and the raiway station. The apartment itsself is very cosy and homely. There are two good sized bedrooms, a bathroom with excellent shower and large bath, a very well equiped kitchen and a living/dining room with comfortable chairs and balcony. These high ceilinged rooms are light and airy and freshly painted in provencal colours. One or the two large windows opened on to a balcony. The apartment is on the junction of two lively streets and one of the joys of a holiday here is to sit at the balcony with a glass of wine and watch la vie francaise play out before you.

The bottle of wine on arrival was a nice start to a very happy stay for our party of three. We loved the fapartment. We soon got to know the people in the little grocery shop, the boulangerie and the cafe - all of which are on your doorstep. (For bigger shops Monoprix is 500 mts).

Can't wait to return. Go - you'll love it !
