Recently renovated, the apartment is situated on the third floor of a listed building, with main entrance on the Cours Saleya, with its daily flower and vegetable market and it is 200m from the beach. The apartment comprises a large living/dining room with Satellite TV and CD radio, 2 double bedrooms, fully equipped open plan kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine, fridge freezer, oven, microwave, and 4 electric rings; shower room, separate WC. A single folding bed is available on request. The apartment is North West facing. On the doorstep are an abundance of restaurants, cafes, the fresh fruit and flower market, and the charming Ruelles of vieux Nice. Underground parking available (payant) 50m. The apartment is easily accessible from the airport by bus which takes 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Ideally situated for discovering Nice.

Additional information about rental rates

  • A 30% non refundable deposit is payable at the time of booking, balances to be paid 6 weeks before departure. In the event of cancellation, we will endeavour to re-let the dates reserved, in which case a refund can be made, provided that the property is let at the full rental price for the period in question.
  • A breakage deposit of 250 Euros is payable in cash to the key holder on arrival. This will be returned at the end of your stay provided the property is left clean, and there are no breakages.
  • Changeover date is negotiable.

'I loved the flat. The location is fab. Couldn't be better. The flat itself is comfortable and pleasantly furnished. It's a charming place and, all being well, I would like to rent from you again - possible in the autumn. I would have no hesitation in recommending it to friends. Perfect location

We have just stayed at the apartment in June 2009. Not knowing Nice we had doubts about the location but it turned out to be perfect. It is on the most popular (pedestrianuised) street in the Old Town, the best part as far as we are concerned and just 2 mins walk from the beach. It is noisy at night but if you close the windows you can't hear a thing and it was still reasonably cool. You can't stop in the centre of a city and expect silence though.
The building in general is very old (about 300 years we were told) and as such as the character to go with. There are several fights of steps to get to the apament inside so you need a bit of stamina but no more than some pensioners who use them daily. If you do struggle with steps though you will struggle with this apartment but we loved the bit of exercise
The apartment would have scored a perfect mark had it had a balcony but when you are situated on the best street in town and seconds form the beach you can't really grumble.
The photos don't actually do the apartment full justice.
We would stay at the apartment again and loved Nice and its people.
Recommended for:  Adventure Seekers, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway
