Photos and Description of this Nice holiday apartment 2 big bedrooms (sleeps 4 adults and a baby)

Spacious 2-bed apartment situated in the heart of Nice in an old building in the Quartier des Musiciens. You will be fantastically situated for the beach/promenade (less than 10mins walk), the main shopping area (5mins), a great choice of restaurants and only a short walk from the old part of the city (Vieux Nice). The apartment is in a period building with high ceilings and period caving. It is on the third floor (there is a lift) with uninterrupted views from the lounge and main bedroom windows. The rooms are bright, spacious and the area is quiet thanks to the building being set back from the road in its own courtyard. The two bedrooms and the lounge have big French windows (and shutters, of course) facing west and looking out on to palm trees in the courtyard. The apartment is equipped to a high standard: we pride ourselves in making sure you have everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing holiday (we have recently added WiFi internet access and English TV).

Nice is the cultural capital of the Cote d'Azur. It is beautifully nestled between the southern Alps (ski resorts are only 1h15 drive away) and the breathtaking Baie des Anges. The region is home to Monaco, Cannes, Antibes along the coast and stunning hill top villages. Nice has it all; beaches, promenades, narrow medieval streets in the old town, restaurants, cafes, markets, shopping and art. It just depends on what you fancy doing. Lazing about and soaking in the warm sun often feels like the best option, but if you want to get out and about and experience the best of the French Riviera, Nice is the place to be. Carnival in February is legendary. Monaco Grand Prix in May. Jazz festival in August. There is always something happening on the Riviera. An impressive choice of museums including Matisse and Chagall await. Beaches are there all year round to bathe in, play on or just sit on and watch the world go by. There is an abundance of shops and places to eat and drink.

Additional information about rental rates

  • No extra charges: Towels, bed linen, electricity, heating and water charges are all included in the weekly rates.

    Short stays: stays of 3-5 nights are calculated at 85% of weekly rate, 6 nights at 100% of weekly rate.

    Payment conditions: 25% of the total rent is payable to secure your booking. Balance of rent and the breakage deposit must be paid a minimum of 8 weeks before the start of your holiday.
  • Change over days are flexible, however, we do ask that you to arrive after 4pm and vacate the apartment by 10am to enable us to get the apartment ready between guests.
  • Breakage deposit: refundable breakage deposit of €200 euros must be paid before keys are dispatched.

    Payment conditions: 25% of the total rent is payable to secure your booking. Balance of rent and the breakage deposit must be paid a minimum of 8 weeks before the start of your holiday.

    The apartment is strictly non smoking.

Notes: Entertainment: we also have a DVD player, a collection of English-language DVDs, a 'line-in' cable on the stereo (just plug in your iPod or MP3 player!), English-language paperbacks as well as card, board games and toys for the kids. There's a hairdryer, a drying rack for your clothes and loads of storage space. The apartment is spacious, airy and, thanks to being way back from the road, is quiet considering its central location. We have recently added WiFi internet access (high speed at 20Mbit) and a new cable TV service that includes English-language channels like BBC World, BBC Prime, CNN and Sky News. There is also a phone which accepts incoming calls.
