The apartment is ideally located for touring the French Rivera and Italy, and would also make a perfect base for the Cannes Film Festival and the Monaco Grand Prix.

This 2-bedroom apartment is situated in the heart of the Old Town directly opposite the beach. The accommodation includes a open plan kitchen, dining area and living room with French doors leading to a private terrace. The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, oven, hob, microwave and fridge/freezer. The master bedroom has a double bed, wardrobes and a French door leading onto the private terrace. There is a spiral staircase leading to the second bedroom with twin beds and a walk-in wardrobe. The apartment also features air conditioning, flat screen TV and DVD player. .

The apartment is located in the heart of the Old Town of Nice (Vieux Nice) overlooking the sea on Rue des Ponchettes. The “Ponchettes” are one of the landmarks of Old Nice, classified for protection as an historical and architectural treasure. Dating from the 18th century the house is situated among the arcades and terraces that make up the Ponchettes. The apartment has beautiful views over the Baie des Anges (Bay of Angels), with a shingle beach directly opposite and the old castle is a short stroll away. Also on your doorstep is the Promenade des Anglais - Nice's famous seafront esplanade. It's 6km long and is a fantastic place for a stroll or you can hire a bicycle or rollerblade up and down. The Cours Saleya with its famous flower market, cafes and restaurants is less than a minutes walk from the house. Nearby there are also some excellent speciality shops, art galaries and museums (Musee Matisse, Musee des Beaux Arts, Musee d'Art Moderne et Contemporain).

  • Minimum Letting Period And Prices:
    The minimum letting period is generally one week, from Saturday to Saturday. Shorter letting periods are by special arrangement only. The letting prices are per week and per lodging. Where an initial deposit is paid, the balance must be paid 8 weeks prior to commencement of the booking. If the booking is taken within 8 weeks of commencement then full payment will be required at time of booking. Acceptable payment methods: paypal, bank draft or bank transfer
  • Cancellation:
    You or any member of your party may cancel your booking at any time. A full refund will be given if cancellation is received 8 weeks prior to the booking date, however no refund will be made if cancellation occurs within 8 weeks of the booking. We strongly recommend that you take out personal travel insurance to cover you for cancellations/lost or theft of your personal property.
  • Arrivals and Departures:
    Check-in is at 16.00 hrs. and check-out is at 10.00 hrs. On arrival you will be met by our representative who will go through an inventory of the property, take receipt of a security deposit, familiarise you with appliances and hand over keys.

We (me, my husband and 17yr old son) stayed at this apartment in Augusts 2009.
The welcome we received was lovely there was a welcome pack and we were greeted by Sarah Jane the local agent who showed us round the apartment. The apartment was clean and well equipped. It was really handy for the beach, old town and not far to walk at all to the new town.
The only slight criticism was the basement bedroom smelt damp but this did not detract from the great time we had.
Would not recommend it for people with small children due to the spiral stircase access down to the second bedroom but would be great for two couples or people with older children. The outside terrace area was really welcome in the great weather we had.
Would definately stay again. Nice is great.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers
