This luxurious, romantic center apartment is located in a quiet one way street just few streets back from the main pedestrian shopping avenue and Avenue Jean Medicine is just 5 minutes away where the silent tram system takes you over to the lively Old Town in seconds. Walk down our street and in 7-8 min you come to the famous Hotel Negresco and the beach. All kinds of night-life and shops, artists, galleries and designers of Nice are with in reach by foot. If you want to have a car there is a “free” car parking in the street. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. Great location to discover the beauty and culture of Nice and the Cote d'Azur.Train station only few steps away, jump on a train to Monaco or Italy in 30-40 min Description of apartment: Few steps up, no climbing up difficult stairs after a long day out. Great location in the heart of Nice’s chic “Musicians quarter’. It will take you only 15 min. from the airport to get here and the cost 4 euros with the airport bus (stops at train station) and 25 euros by taxi. Walking distance to the beach, walk straight down our street Berlioz for 6-7 min. and you are at the Famous Hotel Negresco, cross over the famous beach street 'Promenade des Anglais’ and you are on the pebble beach of the Baie des Anges (the Bay of Angels), the azure blue waters of the Mediterranean, and the famous Promenade des Anglais, 7km long. Beach life starts early in the morning; before-breakfast swimmers. The La Gare SNCF (train/bus station) is 2 min. away from the apartment. The trendy and quaint Old Town famous for its “Cours Saleya” flower/ fruit and vegetable market and Antiques on Mondays is 15 min. walk away. You are also ideally placed to enjoy Monaco’s Grand Prix, Cannes Film Festival.

Additional information about rental rates

  • The price includes ; electricity, hot water and heating or air condition, TV.English channels, ADSL computer connection. Preferably leave the apartment in good order before departure. Normal cleaning in the end and greetings and handover of the key is 70 Euros. Normally, changeover day is Saturdays but we will do our best to be flexible, contact us with your requirements we would love to accommodate you. We are usually in the area during your stay if you need any help.
    Deposit is 30% to confirm your booking, and we need full cleared payment of the rest into our bank FOUR weeks before you arrive. There is a security deposit of 200 euros, which is refunded within week of your depart, less any possible damage.
    Usually check-in is between 12.00 - 16.00 hrs and check-out is at 11.00 hrs. On arrival we will show you around and hand over keys.
    You can make payments by Swift transfer or Paypal. We will send you more details.

Events in or around Nice: LOOK the Tourist board website for details...December is wonderful in Nice the city is relaxed and romantic full of xmas decoration, loads of snowy Christmas threes and people selling handcraft. The famous Carnival is on in February. In April Easter parades semi marathon & regatta. May, family Fete Monaco, Grand Prix and Cannes film festival, June festival. In July the amazing Jazz festival, Bastille Day. Aug lots of musical nights, Sept. Intl Festival of Military Music, Oct Blues festival and much more

Day trips can include;: Monaco/ Monte Carlo by train 20 minutes. All Fridays Ventimiglia Market in Italy the famous buzz market with loads of leather goods and more for a good price. For art lovers many great museum near by like: Chagall, Matisse, St Paul de Vence old mountain village with many little art galleries is a must. Fondation Maeght, 40mins) and winter skiing in Isola 2000 (1hr30mins) Local ferry to Cannes and the Isles de Lerins (famous for the Man in the Iron Mask), or the fast ferry to Corsica, both from the Port in Nice.

Local Skiing: Winter skiing is easy from Nice;,Valberg, Auron and Isola 2000 is a large modern resort, very popular, with good lifts and well maintained runs. It is 2,000 metres high and usually has good snow from before Xmas to April. It's about 1hr30mins drive from Nice. Ski-bus service is from the GARE Nice (train station) 2 min. walk from our apartment). Auron, Valberg, Greolieres, and a number of smaller resorts are lower altitude and hence have snow for a shorter time is about the same distance from Nice. Limone in Italy is a prettier skiing area, about 2hour drive from Nice.

Other Activities: Just down the road on the beach is' WATER SPORT', great FUN and EXCITEMENT
