Nice holiday apartment: Rue Rossini

We arrived in Nice in the evening after a very pleasant transfer with Aer Lingus from Belfast. We found the appartment very easily in a quiet and peaceful residential area and it was a very welcoming sight with everything in place as detailed. Th layout of the appartment is excellent and the two well appointed bedrooms were excellent,especially as our daughter had decided to accompany us at the last minute just prior to her wedding.A short a stroll in the warm evening air brought us to a restaurant, recommended by the owner, and we had a lovely meal in the centre. The first few days we spent on the beach, which was a comfortable stroll of a few minutes, and in the evening we dined in some other recommended restaurants which were all very good and not expensive. Being in Nice for only one week limited our time but we did go to Monaco for a day, we had visited Monaco years ago, and the ease of transfer by rail certainly opens up all kinds of opportunity. The station is five minutes walk from the appartment. Being in Nice on July 14th was special and we enjoyed a meal on the beach followed by a magnificent fire work display to celebrate Bastille Day. Shopping, visits to the Old Town and flower market and walks on the promenade, all within easy walking distance, really helped us to appreciate our location. A couple of evenings eating in making use of the excellent local shops helped us relax and enjoy the facilities in the appartment.
We had a very enjoyable time in Nice and the appartment contributed to that joy. I would have no hesitation recommending this appartment to any of my family, indeed my daughter and her new husband may well beat us to returning, and my wife and I hope to return to do all the things we did not have time for last summer
