Large, bright apartment ideally located just two blocks from the promenade and the beach. Beautifully furnished air-conditioned living space with TV, DVD and CD player, queen-size wall-bed (Murphy bed) with a hotel quality mattress. Two sliding doors with remote control shutters lead to a large terrace (18 sqm) with an electric awning. This is well equipped with patio furniture and gets the sun from about noon until late evening. The air-conditioned bedroom has a queen-size bed (160 cms) and a large built-in wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside lockers, reading lamps and a cool marble floor. The kitchen is equipped with a 4-plate ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, toaster, kettle, cafetiere and a full range of crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils and a small balcony with a clothes line. The bathroom has a washbasin, a full size bath with overhead shower, a hair dryer and a vacuum cleaner. There is a separate toilet.

This gorgeous family-owned apartment is situated in the heart of Nice in a quiet location with very easy access to all amenities. The Promenade des Anglais is a 3-minute walk away and the main street, Avenue Jean Medecin, a pleasant 10/12 minute stroll. Supermarkets, restaurants, pubs are all just minutes away as well as shops of all descriptions, from designer to high street. The airport bus stop is just around the corner and from here buses are also available to the Port, to Mont Boron, to Parc Phoenix, to the museums of Cimiez and to the railway and main bus stations. Buses to Cannes, St. Paul de Vence, Antibes and many other places of interest can be caught on the Promenade 250 metres away. The famous Château - a public park on top of a 92m high hill - is a 15-minute stroll to the east along the Promenade and offers panoramic views of Nice and the sparkling Baie des Anges. Open-air concerts are held here in the summer. The Cours Saleya can be seen from the Château.

Additional information about rental rates

  • SPECIAL OFFER, CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR - €770 PER COUPLE PER WEEK.

    Rates are based on a couple sharing. Please add €15 per extra person per night. Rates are inclusive of bed linen, towels, electricity, hot water, air conditioning and central heating in winter. THERE ARE NO EXTRAS TO PAY. In order to secure a booking, we require a 50% deposit lodged to our bank account within a week, with the balance due at least six weeks before your arrival date.

    Any deposit paid is refundable up to six weeks before your arrival date if you have to cancel for any reason. We strongly advise that you have travel insurance to cover cancellation after this time.

    Please note that cancellations are subject to a €50 administration fee.

    Because we appreciate the frustration of waiting for a reply, we endeavor to answer all inquiries quickly, usually within an hour or two, but always within 24 hours.
  • Depending on your arrival time, you may have to go to a central location to pick up the keys or else you will be met at the apartment. A damage deposit of 300 Euro in cash is payable on arrival. This will be returned directly to you within two weeks of your departure provided no damage has occurred and the keys have been returned.
    Departure time is 10am and arrival is at an agreed time after 4 pm. We do, however, try to facilitate guests who wish to be in the apartment outside of these times. Normally this is possible only when there are no other guests involved on the same day.
  • A discount is available for stays of three weeks or longer. From November 1 to March 31, exclusive of Christmas, New Year and Easter, our rates are €1200 per month, and €1000 per month for stays of 3 months or longer.

  • The pristine bathroom is fully tiled with recessed ceiling lights. There is a wash-basin, a full-sized bath with an overhead shower , a mirrored recess with shelves for storage and a hair dryer. There is a separate toilet.

  • The large double bedroom has a very comfortable queen-size bed (160 cm), built-in wardrobe with plenty storage space, chest of drawers, bedside lockers and reading lamps. It has a cool marble floor and a window shutter and is air-conditioned. The wall-bed (Murphy bed) in the living area (160 cm) is as comfortable as any 'proper' bed . It has a hotel quality mattress and has reading lamps and a shelf for books etc. It will comfortably accommodate two adults.

Notes: The apartment runs from the front to the back of the building (traversant in French) with a balcony off the kitchen at the back and a large terrace off the living area in front. This means that in summer the place can be kept cool and comfortable. The large living area contains a very comfortable wall-bed (queen-size) with a hotel-quality mattress which easily accommodates two adults. The terrace, which has a westerly aspect, is ideal for al fresco dining or for that evening glass of wine as you watch the sun set over the Chateau de la Tour in the distance. The terrace is equipped with a large dining table and chairs as well as two superior quality sun loungers and a drinks table.

For trips to the beach, we supply beach mats, a parasol and a cool bag with ice blocks. We have tried to think of everything that will make the apartment a home from home for our guests. For a day out to remember, take a boat trip from Nice port to Cannes, St. Tropez or the Iles de Lerins, or, if you prefer to travel by train, how about breakfast in Nice, lunch in Italy and dinner in Monte Carlo? If you tire of the beach, you can visit St. Paul de Vence, an art lover's paradise. This village, with its narrow cobbled streets and fabulous views, is an easy 30 minute journey by bus from Nice. The Chemin de Fer de Provence, a narrow gauge railway, offers a superb trip through the Alps to Digne. Entrevaux, with its castle and drawbridge, can be explored on the way. The Friday morning market in Ventemiglia is another very enjoyable excursion. Several trains depart from Nice Ville to take you to a vast display of leather jackets, shoes, bags etc. at very keen prices.

The apartment has the two features which we consider to be essential for a comfortable stay - AIR CONDITIONING and OUTSIDE SPACE. The air-conditioning ensures that the place is cool and comfortable at all times, and guarantees a good night's sleep - a vital part of any holiday. Outside space is very important in a place like Nice. We really regard the terrace as the piece de resistance of the apartment and, judging by the feedback, so do our guests. If you feel like fresh air, you do not have to leave the apartment, as you do with so many others. It is ideal for sun-bathing with an electric awning for shade if it gets too hot and perfect for a drink or dining in the evening while you watch the sun set. We have spent many happy evenings there, chatting until the early hours.

The apartment measures 60 sq. ms. with an extra large living area and an 18sq. m. terrace. It is, therefore, perfect for a couple who like a little more space. The apartment is on the fifth floor of a small 7 storey building. There are no more than two apartments on any floor. There is a lift in the building but please note that we take no responsibility for its function. There are permanent residents in our building, some of whom are elderly. As a courtesy to them we ask that you try to keep noise to a minimum, particularly at night. Many of our guests have become 'regulars' over the years and tell me how lucky they feel to have found our apartment. One guest is about to return for the fifth time!

Ski: Isola 2000, a purpose-built ski resort which caters for all abilities, is 1 hour 15 minutes drive from Nice. The Ski Bus leaves every morning during the ski season from central Nice. Skis, gear etc. available for hire. Further information from the Tourist Office at 5 Promenade des Anglais.

Golf: There are at least 20 golf courses within 30 minutes drive of Nice, all of whom welcome non-members. Further information on request.

Other Activities: For a fantastic day out, take a boat trip from Nice port to Cannes, Monaco, St. Tropez or the Iles de Lerins.

This the perfect apartment for anyone looking for space, comfort & convenience, and is the ideal base from which to explore all that Nice has to offer.

The apartment is clean & well equipped with attention to detail - efficient air-con, a particularly comfortable bed & good reading lamps.

After a long days sight-seeing or sunbathing, it was always a pleasure to return to the wonderful terrace for a glass of wine before heading out to dine at one of the many nearby restaurants.

Overall, a great holiday. I look forward to returning!

Great Apartment in a Great City

Myself and my partner stayed in the apartment in mid-June and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment is very easy to get to from the airport using one of the public buses. The collection of the keys was straight forward and very close to the apartment.

The apartment is located very close to the beach, supermarkets shops and also a number of restaurants. The apartment also has a very large terrace with pato furniture with is great to sit out in the sun.

Overall, I would have not hesitate in recommending the apartment to people looking for a relaxing holiday in a great city.

Great base for using the cheap and excellent daytime bus system(plus a few good night buses).A 7 day pass is 15 euros and you can go all the way to places like the glorious hilltop village St Paul de Vence.
A cocktail in nearby exotic Hotel Negresco is fun.

Well equipped accommodation.Friendly locals and plenty of restaurants .

Great apartment!

I recently stayed in this apartment with my husband and 2 children. The apartment is very spacious for a family of 4. The location is perfect! It is on a quiet street not far from the Promenade des Anglais and the beaches. There are 2 supermarkets nearby and it is convenient to the bus lines. The kitchen is very well equipped. The apartment was very clean. The manager was very helpful and very responsive. I would highly recommend this property.
