The Promenade des Anglais - Nice's famous seafront esplanade, 6km long - is a fantastic place for a stroll. You can also hire a bicycle or Rollerblade up and down. Nearby there are also some excellent speciality shops, art galleries, designers and museums (Musee Matisse, Musee des Beaux Arts, Musee d'Art Moderne et Contemporain).

Notes to the rental rates

  • 30% deposit to book, full payment is due not later than 5 weeks before arrival. A security deposit is required (1000 EUROS by cheque), which will be returned at the end of stay. Linen are provided free of charge including bath towels (Please kindly bring your own beach towels). No hidden extras. We expect you to clean the apartment carefully before departure but will charge a small fee for final cleaning. Changeover day is Saturday.
  • LOW SEASON : (SEPTEMBER TO JUNE)
    The apartment is available for long stays at LESS than 2000 EUROS per month - Minimum rental period 3 months.
    HIGH SEASON : JULY + AUGUST : Minimum rental period 2 weeks.
  • With a warm welcome and our local knowledge of the area we will do our utmost to make you enjoy your stay in Nice. Check-in and check-out are flexible when practicable. On arrival we will go through an inventory of the property, take receipt of the security deposit, familiarize you with appliances and hand over keys.

Very sunny, the apartment is tiled with “tomettes” from the XVIII (typical tiles hand-made in Salernes, Provence). With 5 large windows overlooking the Cours Saleya, it is full of charm. Thick walls, and windows with louvre shutters, keep it cool during the summer. A small TV set is also available to watch DVD or video tapes. INTERNET BROADBAND ACCESS. The apartment is on the first floor with no lift.

To travel around, Nice is an ideal base from which to explore the Cote d'Azur: you can take a boat trip from Nice port to the Lerins islands, St. Tropez, la Corniche d'Or and Monaco. Monaco is 15 mins by train and Cannes is about 40 mins. As we know this area and the surroundings quite well, having lived in Nice for 15 years, we will be happy to help you to discover the area and share our best addresses with you.

It is in the centre of the lively market area which has plenty of reasonably priced restaurants with food to suit a variety of tastes. Through the market and over the road is the beach where we spent many pleasant evenings watching the sunset. A short stroll through the old town and you find yourself in the centre of Nice with its grand shops museums and art galleries, we visited the Matisse museum and the Museum of Modern Art both of which we recommend a look at. The apartment is well equipped so if you wish to cook with the market on the doorstep selling the most amazing fresh and even organic produce you can do so (we did on a few occasions as with there being so many of us eating out every day would have been too expensive). With three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a good sized dining sitting room we had plenty of space for all of us to relax after the days activities. I would love to stay in this apartment again and would recommend it to our friends. Thanks for a fantastic holiday !
